I purchased this tubing to run from my axolotl tank to my canister filter and chiller. The factory tubing continued to kink so the water flow diminished causing the pump to lose its prime. This tubing is rigid enough not to kink! Works perfectly!

    • Hose failed and burst creating a big hassle

Tubing bubbled and burst about midway between the pump and pressure tank. That hose was never subject to a pressure about 60 psi since there is a pressure switch on the pump. I am pretty disappointed as I now need to disassemble this system and rebuild it with quality hose. It's also very much not kink resistant. I am not sure what the materials difference is but this hose doesn't feel and smell like the black plastic type hose that you might find at home depot for water systems. Small update - while trying to get this rolled back for the return it's been nearly impossible to do so without it kinking. I have it sitting out in the sun to try to make if flexible enough to roll up, box and return. It's been frustrating and is causing extra work and effort to undo this and replace it with a better product. This only lasted 4 days. ... show more
