Wow, all I can say is, I'm impressed! My daughters wanted their own tent, so after some chores we ordered this one because it was affordable. We got the green one. Didn't expect a $56 tent to be amazing, but to my surprise it is! First, its pretty difficult to find a 3 person tent that has windows that aren't covered by a rainfly. This is built just like a large tent, only smaller! There was a surprising amount of room for being 3 person. Our 10 year old and I had it set up in just a few minutes, there were no confusing or frustrating aspects to setup or takedown, and the bag has ample room if you're not a super tight tent roller. Tip for putting your tent away: place the bag at one end of your flat tent and fold it to match the length of the bag before you start rolling it up 😉 My daughter was so excited for this tent that she left it up on the porch for about 2 weeks. During those two weeks we had a WHOLE LOT of rain, wind, and storms. Not a single drop got into the tent, and in the mornings there was no dew inside. I was shocked! Ventilation is great inside. I loved it so much that I ordered another one in red for my husband, our littlest one and I. It's smaller than what we're used to because we usually use a cabin tent, but the quailty and ease of this tent, along with the security of knowing this thing is truly leak proof is worth it! Could not be happier and the low price is just the cherry on top! I would pay $80-$100 for this tent without batting an eye. Can't wait to take them to the campground! ... show more

It rained for 5 hrs and the tent was drenched no water came in from the roof or the door opening but rain was coming in from the window seams, there needs to be an overhand for the wi does like there is for the door opening. I was under a thick tree at the base, on a slope still had rain come in. I love the tent otherwise. It got the the high 90s one day and the tent stayed cool with the windows down. The floor could be a little thicker but you get what you pay for I suppose. I used it for a whole week and had no issues. Nice tent but it came with no stakes and as we did a trial run set up before our planned camping trip and one of the poles broke as we were taking it down. Tried calling the customer support number but just get a busy signal.

I have 3 ground tents. This is my favorite. Even over my Eureka tent (which is also great). Rated for 3. As all tents about 1/2 the rating is realistic. My son has camped in it with 2 of his buddies but for adults plan for 2 unless your small or really like each other. Sets up easy and takes down just as easy. My son made a YouTube video how to put up a tent using this tent. Still in editing (not yet posted).. We did a 3 days backpack trip using this tent back in July. The hottest weekend of the year of course. The tent opens up to breath. I said it’s my favorite ground tent. When I camp with my son we use this tent. When alone I still prefer my Lawson Blue Ridge hammock. It has a little spot to run a cord in for charging. I guess if your campground camping that’s great. I don’t believe in campgrounds. I like REAL camping.. ______ Follow up. The shock cord pole on the rainfly over the door did break. I got a hold of customer service by e-mail. The phone number on the tent didn't work. The lady I contacted was great. They replaced the part. This is still my favorite ground tent I have. My son has a video on youtube how to put up a tent and putting on a rainfly using this tent.     • Decent-sized tent. Works well in dry conditions.
I purchased the 3 person tent a while ago, and I finally got to use it this week. First off, I bought a red tent, and I received an orange one. I didn't really care about color, so that was no big loss. Assembly was pretty standard, with two long poles that slide into sleeves within the tent. There are also plastic clips to anchor onto the poles as well. The end of the poles are inserted into metal rods attached to the tent base. I somewhat disliked the metal rod area, as it was not easy to secure the tent to the ground. It comes with a rainfly, which worked well in light rain, but where the fly did not cover, in particular near the window zipper bases and the lower seam attaching the sides of the tent to the tarp like bottom, did not do well in light rain. 30 min of light rain resulted in puddles galore. As for size, most of the tents on amazon are misrepresented for sizing. At almost 6 ft tall, I fit comfortably in a normal position and have plenty of room for my gear. I would say this is a 2 adult tent maximum or 3 kids. One nice thing was that the ventilation was good. There were no condensation problems. ... show more

I purchased this tent for a camping trip in Lake George NY. I've never been camping since the boy scout days. Opened up the package when I got there and setup was simple, it took about five minutes. Tent is really well made for the price, everything went together well. The ventilation is great with the upper walls screened. Even with the rain cover on you still get great ventilation through large screened openings on the front and back walls of tent. Without the rain guard installed, the upper walls of this tent are screened so you can see the sky and stars. It's high enough to sit comfortably inside with a couple of chairs. The blue color is also very cool. It has an opening so you can run and extension cable in if camping with electricity. The 2 large mesh pockets on the inside walls are handy for storage! A hook is provided so you can also hang a battery or electric powered lantern from the top center of the inside roof of the tent. I would consider this a 3 person tent with plenty for room for all you gear, I could not see 4 people fitting comfortably. Another bonus is comes with a carrying case and folds ups to a size of about 2 rolls of paper towels stacked on top of each other for easy transport!
