Not too heavy, handle is easy to hold and makes it easier to move. It has an adjustable fan speed with the use of a dial. Has a GFCI plug on top so you can daisy chain other equipment from it. There is a really good length cord that can reach pretty far so you shouldn't have to use extension cords for most projects. The cords also light up so you can visually see when they are powered. Easy to replace filters and the hard plastic is easy to wipe down and clean. I wish it was easier to fully break down and clean however, the inside and fan can't be fully accessed to clean as easy as needed to makes sure you are not cross contaminating from one location to another. It is possible, with more struggle than wanted and only if you have little hands. Other than the ease to clean its a good fan, good suction, a port for hose attachment for setting up negative air containment. The air scrubber is very sturdy and well put together. Before using it I inspected the two filters that provide the three stage cleaning. The first, paper filter is just as I would expect it to be. A very good, reinforced, pleated paper filter. The second filter was surprisingly heavier than I expected which is a good thing. I put them back in and ran the unit in my basement for about 36 hours. I did seal off the entrance to the basement at the bottom of my stairs to control the air being cleaned. The air was noticeably cleaner and smelled fresh. The musty smell is now gone. ... show more

When i opened the box 2 screws fell out, then i plugged it in and it vibrated really bad, so i looked and found where the screws came from and the other 2 screws were loose... they went to the mounting of the fan motor... after get them put in and all tightened the thing worked like a champ.... beter than i was expecting... and it pulled the dust right out the room ... show more

Purchased this air scrubber while performing a whole house gut renovation. The demo of double layer drywall and 1950’s fiberglass insulation became so unbearable, respirators just weren’t cutting it. Within minutes of putting the filter in the space, and tearing out wall and bagging up debris, the clarity in the air was immediately noticeable. We don’t do demo without this anymore! A super convenient addition is 25’ pvc ducting. Which enables the air scrubber to be a few rooms away while still pulling and cleaning dirty air. Greatly reduces noise. ... show more
