Boveda 49% Instrument Humidifier, Size 8, 10-Pack – Small Woodwinds & Bows

Features

• WHY THIS BOVEDA: Produce optimal sound! Protects a bow & small woodwind instruments from humidity fluctuations. Maintains the ideal humidity level in an instrument case for an oboe, clarinet, flute or small woodwind. Each 2.75x2.5 humidifier packet fits in a small woodwind or bow case. NATURAL INGREDIENTS. Trusted by over 3 million people to protect & maintain items at the perfect humidity level.
• HOW BOVEDA WORKS FOR SMALL WOODWINDS & BOWS: Boveda 49% RH protects wood instruments & their accessories by stabilizing the humidity within the ideal range4555% RH. If the air inside a case is too moist, Boveda absorbs that moisture. If it's too dry, Boveda releases small amounts of water vapor into the case. Wide humidity fluctuations will cause the wood to expand or shrink, which puts stress on the instrument & degrades its performance abilities.
• CHOOSE BOVEDA: Boveda's the only patented 2-way humidity control solution with 25 years of experience. Using saltwater in our humidity packs, we provide the fastest, most precise humidity control in the market for wood instruments. When you invest in an instrument, you want to ensure you take care of it to produce optimal sound. Boveda is the only humidity solution that can do so within 24-48 hours.
• HOW TO USE: NO MORE REWETTING SPONGES & HOSES! It takes seconds to protect your instruments for months with Boveda. Remove a pack from the resealable bag. DO NOT cut or open the brown humidity packet. Slip the packet into a Boveda Mini Fabric Holder (available separately). Place it in your instrument case or bow tube and latch the lid. BOVEDA DOES THE REST. Replace every 3 months. You'll know it's time to swap out Boveda when it becomes hard and crunchy. NEVER MIX the 49% with any other %RH.
• WHO IS BOVEDA FOR: Boveda 49% RH is for woodwinds and strings. Easy and precise humidity management for professional musicians, band and orchestra leaders, instrument techs, music teachers, hobbyists and student musicians. KEEPS WOODWINDS AND BOWS PLAY-READYNO DAILY MAINTENANCE! Dont risk damaging an instrument by adding water to sponges and snakes and forgetting to refill them. WHY RISK A WARPED OR CRACKED INSTRUMENT or the downtime of having your piece in a repair shop?

Description

49% Standard Pack 49% High Absorption Pack 49% Size 8 10 Pack 72% Size 60 Pack 72% Reed Kit 84% Reed Kit Do I have to use a fabric holder with Boveda in an instrument case? YES! Always insert Boveda into a Boveda Fabric Holder before placing it in an instrument case. The fabric holder extends the life of Boveda plus acts as a liquid barrier if a pack is accidentally punctured. Do I tear open the brown Boveda packet? NO!!! DO NOT OPEN the brown packet itself. If your Boveda arrived individually wrapped in cellophane, remove that plastic overwrap before slipping the humidity control pack into a fabric holder. Should I use a sponge or snake with Boveda? No, do not use Boveda in the same instrument case with other humidification products, as this will reduce the Boveda’s efficiency. Ditch the sponges and hoses. No more rewetting— Boveda works automatically to balance the humidity in your case! I live in a really humid place, so do I need Boveda in my instrument case? Yes! Boveda makes a High-Absorbency pack to protect wood instruments in extreme humidity, prevent warping and curb humidity fluctuations when you’re in a dry environment, like an airplane or air-conditioned venue. What’s the difference between the Large and Small Starter Kits? The Large Starter Kit is the right Boveda for an acoustic guitar, large woodwind or large bowed or fretted instrument. Choose a Small Starter Kit to use Boveda with an electric guitar or bass, small woodwind or small bowed or fretted instrument.
