I have bought this dehumidifier for my large basement of over 2000 sq feet and this is the best investment. It took me only few minutes to set up and after this it’s working really well. The best part is we can connect to phone and control it. Like regular dehumidifier we don’t have to keep it clean every day it has a hose so all water goes to drain and really make my life super easy. This is high quality product and I strongly believe this will stay long. Great value for money.

works great, build solid, not real heavy and very quiet while running or pumping out moisture. we set it up in our crawl space after i encapsulated it. we have a damp crawl space it’s just the way it is where we live in michigan. so far it went from high 60s humidity to it keeping it around 46 to 50 which for us is amazing. you can definitely tell the difference compared to before installing it. we purchased the hanging kit and it did make a difference in sound. i had to open the crawl space to see if it was working it was so quiet. it pulls a lot of moisture out from the air by the amount of water in the pump tube leading to our sump pump. set up with the app was really quick and simple if you read the directions. i haven’t had any problems doing setting changes from the app. it’s nice to be able to check it without needing to crawl down into the crawl space to look. how accurate the app is to be determined. i’ll be putting a humidity meter down there to see but for now i will definitely recommend this unit and may purchase another for our attic since attics can be prone to humidity here also. time will tell on the lifespan of the unit update: after a few days being installed the app quit working and can’t even log in. for this reason i’m going from 5 star to 3. the whole reason paying more for this model was for the APP feature.

Really impressed with this ALORAIR dehumidifier - setup was easy, and the built-in pump with hose makes draining completely hands-off. The app control is super convenient since I can check humidity levels and adjust settings without going into the crawl space. It’s compact, runs quietly, and has kept my basement noticeably drier even during damp weeks.

My cellar had upwards of 85% humidity and had been partially enveloped. I put more vapor barrier down to finish the envelopment and installed the Alorair dehumidifier and am able to keep it around 50 to 55%. Love the app so that I can remotely keep an eye on the humidity although it doesn't always seem to match the LED readout so I assume the app has a bit of a delay in updating but over all its great. Im currently using the gravity drain to a 5 gallon bucket but plan to switch to pump when I have a place to route the water.
