So, I had purchased some Pittsburgh sockets from harbor freight and the clips that they ship/are purchased on are a nightmare to get the sockets on and off. So I purchased a set of these in both 3/8” drive and 1/4” drive. Just switched my sockets onto these and boy, the abs plastic pieces are heavier duty than I need to store them in my toolbox. Plus, the spring loaded ball bearing holds the sockets sturdy in place, yet still allows easy removal and installation back onto the clip. 10/10 would recommend for anyone that needs cheap and easy socket organization.

The sockets fit on the rails well and the come off with a firm pull. The colors help me distinguish between Imperial and Metric measurements. The major problem is the rail is narrow, smaller than the base of most sockets, and the item tips over easily as a result. I tried keeping them in a toolbox drawer but they didn’t stay upright, so I had to lay them on their side or put them elsewhere. AD2

These rails are sturdy. They didn't melt when I took a dremel cutoff wheel to them to customize length. I pack kits (SAE and Metric) of 1/4 and 3/8 grab bags with a combo wrench grab bag. I can take the whole bag or just the size of grab bag for the task. I pack a separate bag with both 1/2 SAE and Metric grab bags for those tough things. My tools are a mix of HF, Kobalt, and Klutch as my work doesn't require high end items-especially when they disappear off of manlifts, ladders, etc. I need competent, affordable, replaceable tools. These looked like they would be perfect for replacing the metal spring clip style that my sockets kept falling off of and rolling around in the bags. I am aware that the plastic will age over time, but I am hopeful that these make it a few years of tuckbox carry through the seasons. The price point on these rails made it worth taking the gamble. They feel wonderful when popping my sockets on and off. Like other reviewers, I can turn them upside down and the sockets stay on. I hung a short 3/8 strip vertically with the heaviest socket at the top and they didn't slide down the rail. I am not concerned about that, just curious as the rails are not notched. This I am sure will not last as they wear in. Just on initial purchase impression, I think I am going to order more and set up my home kit/backup work kit the same way.
