I just opened my package and am pleased with the quality of the construction. I have small hands and this just fits my hand. People with larger hands should pay attention to the dimensions. I used a cheap wire cutter for years until it fell apart 30 years later. It has a smaller handle and a smaller but heavier work surface so it is easier to cut into the pastry dough. I will have to get used to the smaller size of the handle since I am used to having a larger handle. Both the cutter and board scraper are sturdy and don't bend. The measurements on the scraper will come in handy.

I love to treat my family to a fresh baked pie, and do not use a processor to make crust. I used to use a fork and knife but decided to see if the dough blender would do a better job of cutting in the butter, and it really did. It also cut down the prep time and the crust was tender and flaky. I’m not a gaget person, but this is worth the space that it uses in my kitchen, and easy to clean also.
