The batteries in our smoke alarms are getting a bit old. I think they've been up there for a year or so. So I bought these. - Same exact form factor (size, etc) as Alkalines. - Wrapped in plastic in groups of 2. - Come charged at exactly 10v We have four smoke alarms. And just about every Winter when it starts to get cold, the batteries in mine always seem to die in the very middle of the night prompting me to get the ladder from the garage and replace the bad one. Well, not this year. I have replaced all of them just now and I think that I might get a few years of uninterrupted sleep. I would put these batteries to use right away, rather than wait. Lithiums don't like to sit around at a full charge, so storing them for any length of time won't benefit these cells. As mentioned, they come charged at 10v. Just know that when you put them in a new device that it will have a little more oomph than the usual ones. I have to give these 5-stars for the price mainly. Because just a single 9V battery at the local big box store will likely set you back half as much as you can buy 4 of these for. And Lithiums are going to last longer than Alkalines too. The true test of a battery is how long it lasts. I will update this review should there be any issue.

These Allmax 9V lithium batteries are a solid buy. The price is reasonable, especially considering the quality and performance. I’ve used them in smoke detectors and other devices, and so far, the battery life seems to live up to the manufacturer’s claims. It's reassuring to know they’re leakproof and have a 10-year shelf life, which makes them great for both immediate use and emergency storage. Definitely a dependable option for anyone needing long-lasting 9V batteries.

This four pack of 9V batteries have a high quality fit and finish that competes with leading brands. Since they have a really long shelf life (they claim 10 years - I didn't test this but lithium batteries are generally known to last). I'd recommend these for remote locations where you need reliable batteries or in devices that need a little more juice than what a normal 9v alkaline can produce. It is also a nice touch that they're wrapped in sealed plastic so damp locations should be ok. Functionality wise these fit the bill and represent an excellent value. 5/5 stars for these batteries. Put one of these in our carbon monoxide detector and the remainder in our smoke detectors because, well, it's that time of year...again. Fit as expected. The carbon monoxide detector has a gauge and these batteries show 3 out of 3 bars after 4 days (you never know with off brand), so that's a good sign. I can't speak to longevity but I'm hopeful that they last as long or longer than the name brand. So far so good.

I ordered the Allmax 9V Lithium Batteries (4 Count) to replace the batteries in my three smoke detectors. (I will keep the fourth as a spare.) The Allmax batteries fit perfectly. I ordered them because replacing the batteries in my smoke detectors is an onerous job – I have remarkably lofty ceilings. I am hoping that these lithium batteries last longer than the alkaline batteries. At this time, all is well and in good order as things pertain to these batteries. The Allmax batteries have a lower price point than the brand name battery with the pink bunny.

This lithium 9v battery body looks has sturdy design. It fits just like other standard 9v battery. Upon opening the battery for use and I measured its capacity with a digital meter and found that it has 9.03V. This looks to me that it can hold battery well even during idle storage. I haven't used it long enough to provide its battery longevity. However, I like the battery construction and nice feature while holding battery during non-use.

The Volts are good enough for my Smoke Detector. I've had failed batteries in the past that were Brand New and I tried to use with them my smoke alarm but the voltage value wasn't high enough. With this Lithium batteries at 9.63v and with the voltage drain being able to withstand the smoke detector while connected, these Lithium 9V batteries work 100% for my smoke detector and it looks like the other 3 batteries it comes with will be available when needed because they have a shelf life of 10 years.
