All pieces were there & instructions were mostly clear. If I ever got confused, I look at the following step to confirm which way to place an item in the previous step (mostly self-explanatory with the image directions). The velvet pieces are all covered in plastic to protect them. Finished in an hour & half. I also bought a new mattress (EgoHome Black Hyrbid 14in) but regardless, it still made no noise as I get on and off. Headboard appears sturdy from movement. For the headboard height, I followed the instructions but before assembling the sides, I went back and undid the screws and picked the headboard up to only one screw so that it was the 51in height instead (4in difference). There is space to put items underneath of course but maybe boxes or items shorten in height. The headboard and outer side pieces are all super soft and the velvet fabric is pretty.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Big Girl Bed Upgrade I absolutely love this bed frame! It was affordable, easy to put together, and looks so cute in my daughter’s room. She was ready for her “big girl bed,” and this was the perfect choice. The velvet upholstery gives it a soft, stylish look and makes her room feel extra special. The off-white color is beautiful and matches so well with different decor styles. It feels sturdy, and the design looks much more expensive than it actually is. Beautiful!!! I purchased a queen size in white it’s beautiful I can’t express it enough. When I first opened the box I was worried about the durability but it’s strong, guest say that it sleep comfortably that they wonder if the mattress came with it. I would have liked it just a little taller for storage binds. You can store some but the ones I already have a re too tall. But this bed is definitely a 5 star rating. The unsettling part is Amazons delivery person damaged the box which damaged the fabric on the headboard ps dogs love the bed so we add extra pillows to keep them off it

We have the grey velvet platform bed in our Airbnb. It is super sturdy and comes with really well-made materials. Set some time aside to assemble it as there are many fasteners, etc. That being said, assembly was straightforward. The pieces all slide together easily and the fastener holes are the correct side and line up properly. The velvet is a short pile, making it soft and attractive without the worry of catching too much dust or debris. The clearance space underneath is excellent if you want to place sliding storage boxes underneath. It also lifts the bed high enough so you can easily get in and out if you are a bit taller and want to have more height to your bed when you wake up. You don't need a box spring for this product eliminating one more thing to buy when setting up your bedroom. Great quality and great price!

a lot sturdier than i thought it’d be. the fabric isn’t like crushed velvet or anything, but a lot softer than that. the green was really accurate to the photo and it didn’t feel cheap. building it was super easy. the instructions were clear and it came with everything you needed. it was nice to see that the headboard was adjustable so it could be as short or tall as you need (within the three options it gives you). it came in a heavy box but was really compact so it was easy to move. the only downside was the stink. but like… i feel that’s a given for these kinds of things. it goes away after a week, but my partner said they didn’t notice the smell after a day of airing out. it was just a factory type of smell. like how a purple bed smells?? anyways, it was your standard ikea like build and it gave nice results. definitely worth it.

My husband and I needed to replace our bed. We had a high-end set that was just not working for us and sadly not very supportive. We each have back issues; he's already had back surgery and I have pelvic and lower back issues from numerous car accidents. To say it's important for us to have a bed that allows us to wake up with as little pain as possible is an understatement. After reading through tons of reviews for different bed frames and mattresses, this is the bedframe we went with. I had high hopes, and we went for it. NO REGRETS! As I was building it I thought some of the component pieces were a bit flimsy for the sides, but as I continued building it I realised much of the reinforcement for that came with the metal frame the mattress would sit on. I did a lot of research wanting to make sure the bedframe itself was not only wood but had metal center supports. We needed to have a good foundation for the mattress that would sit on top since we were not using a box spring. I put this together myself while my husband was at work, and it went together fairly quickly and easily. The box itself was quite heavy and I took the pieces up individually rather than try to carry everything up at once. I did not have any issues with bolts fitting or threading properly . The green velvet is a lovely colour. Nice and rich and not too bright. Soft to the touch but not overly so, and the foam beneath is firm but depresses when pushed. We have been able to lean against the headboard while sitting up in bed and it’s been perfect. It was also important for me to have a headboard that would go as high as possible because our previous bed had a really tall headboard, and I love the look of it. While it was difficult finding a tall headboard that looked classy and had the green velvet, this one was the tallest I could find that met all the other criteria. The support slats are fairly simple pieces of wood, but they are quite supportive when everything is together, and I loved the Velcro that held them tight along the support rail. We have not had any issue of sound, squeaking, shifting or sliding. We are really happy with this purchase! We paired it with a DreamCloud mattress, and it’s a match made in heaven! Finally sleeping great! A couple things that I did not love about the overall design but does not affect how much I love this bed are the following. In the one picture, you will see how the headboard stops and the thin wrapped support continues down behind the mattress. I would rather not see a gap or such an obvious transition from headboard to support legs. The only other critique I would give is the screw on legs at the footboard are a heavy grade plastic, and at some point down the road I may replace these with something else. In the meantime they have a nice look and don’t stand out in general. The height of the bed from the bottom of the side rails and the floor allows much of what we stored under the bed to still fit. A couple items were a little too tall, but overall, the height of this bed to allow for storage underneath is a bit taller than others I compared it to.
