Assembly was easy. It took me (65 year-old female) an afternoon to accomplish, with a few coffee breaks. Basically all pictures in the assembly directions, and if you take your time and study the pictures, it's fairly easy. Nothing too heavy to handle. The only issue I had was the one side of the wire drawers (Part P), on three of the drawers the screws would not completely tighten Part P to the base of the drawer (Part R). Thinking they might work themselves loose and I'd lose them underneath the frame, I put good old duct tape around them. None of this affected how the drawers pull out or push in. Easier than trying to deal with customer service and/or sending them back. The fabric on the headboard and footboard seems good quality. I love the way the slats snap into the rails. Make sure they are completely snapped in because when you put your mattress on, if they are not snapped in completely, they will move and the rubber tip will bend, which then you have to lift the mattress, bend the rubber tip back and snap it in.

Now this was such a nice bed, especially for someone who is just getting an apartment and want to feel like they got their moneys worth. Just entering their adulthood. I would say to get a very thick mattress because this bed does sit low, but the headboard is high.!

We purchased this bed almost 5 years ago. It was well priced, arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. We have moved it twice since then and appreciate that we can take it apart for easier transport. Putting it back together would have been easier if we had the original assembly instructions but we did find them online. Also, I reached out to the manufacturer (Allewie) because I thought we lost a piece of the frame in the move. We ended up finding it but were pleased with the quick response from Allewie.

Love this bed frame! It was nice quality for the price. The storage was great underneath and looks flush. The storage was wired at the bottom so I put a plastic bottom in it so my small stuff didn't fall through. Overall nice and would recommend! It wasn't very thick but the support was great.

I love the bed, but it has quirks. First, the drawers are not "built in" of wood, like a cabinet, as you might expect. Rather, they are wire baskets that roll on the floor. Not great if you have rugs. When you roll them shut they come all the way out to the edge of the frame, not set back, which means you will stub toes on them. This is because the drawers have keyhole slots to attach to little buttons on the frame, so you have to kind of lift them up a bit and latch them. NOT a good design. The entire frame is made of metal so I replaced this system with magnets. It's also low. So if you're old, fat or have difficulty standing from a low position, get a thick foundation, not one of those plank things. Headboard is very nice, but you cannot clamp a phone holder to it.

Fabric covering is decent quality. Assembled easily. Knocked off one star due to the design of the storage drawers- you have to lift them up to settle them into a locking eyelet hole and it can be hard to match up especially when the bed is fully made.
