Arrived intact, no holes in box. Set up was really quick and simple. Very sturdy and clean look. The drawers are not on a track so they move a little freely under bed unless you pick up a little and slide into the hole for the pin. But once in place you can leave locked in and doesn’t look like you have any drawers. My 13yr old put most of it together and only needed some guidance on assembly. This bed is high-quality and has a great foundation. I worried that not having a boxspring would make it less comfortable, but I am very impressed. It was easy to assemble, and the size of the drawers are awesome. I highly recommend purchasing this bed.

It’s nice and sturdy, I was looking for something that would go all the way down to the floor so that my little dog would stop hiding things under my bed, I wanted additional storage space because I have a small room and boy does this have that. I do like that the drawers are not attached to the beds so you can pull them all the way out and continue to use the open space under your bed at the top for more storage, that’s usually where I keep my suitcases and extra bags, but because they’re not on tracks, the locking mechanism is a little difficult to get used to. I hang some clothes and fold some others and I was able to put most of my folded clothes in the drawers, along with some room for bedding and extra blankets the only suggestion I would have would be to find something to line the drawers with because they are not solid if you planned on putting smaller things in. Because I did larger clothing items. It wasn’t a problem for me, but I still might decide to do that later. It wasn’t difficult to assemble, but there were a couple times I had to take apart pieces because I wasn’t paying attention so make sure you look at where all the holes are in the instructions… I put it together myself, and it took me probably three hours, but most of that was literally just assembling the drawers because they’re the most tedious part. Bed was generally easy to put together. 2 people are better and an interchangeable screwdriver with an allen wrench head (2 different sizes) as it makes it easier to tighten than what they provide. The drawers clicked in well and are staying in place. Slide easy on my carpet. I love how they have the wood board slats locked in. The material is nice and package came with no damage. No noise squeaks so far. I also like the slight lip it has around the edges to hold bed in place ... show more

The pros: This bed was well made and nicely packaged. It included all the needed materials and fasteners. The instructions were pictured. No text. The frames and fasteners were easily identified, all holes were pre-drilled, and alignment was quite accurate. Once assembled, the bed is very sturdy. The only negative: There are a lot of parts. It's okay. It went together easy... was able to get it put together on my own in about 30-45 minutes. It is pretty heavy in the box, though, so depending on your strength, you might need some help getting it inside when it's delivered. Overall, I mean... it holds two grown adults and sleeps well enough without any issues so far. The Meh: The drawers are kinda flimsy and the wire mesh of them is pretty far apart, so big holes for things to fall through. I ended up using some leftover floor tiles to line the bottoms to make it so stuff doesn't just end up on the floor. The one on the end is quite big, so the flimsiness of it is more obvious. It might have done better being two smaller ones. There's no tracks for the drawers, so they just kinda do their own thing unless they're "locked" onto the little peg to keep them in place when they're closed. The little peg is annoying to try to get in the hole (ha, thats what she said) when you "close" the drawer, so I think I might replace it with a strong magnet instead. We are using this in a vacation rental space, os in not overly disappointed overall. I probably wouldn't buy it for everyday use though. ... show more
