Now that I have this bed assembled and I am using it I am very impressed. It arrives in two boxes- one for the bed and one for the drawers; and shipping was super fast. Don't let these reviews fool you, it is a struggle to put together. The bed itself is easy to assemble. BUT those drawers tho. Damn. Plan on a two night build if you are doing it alone. Bed first night and drawers second. My hand still hurts from putting those drawers together. I never want to see another allen wrench. If you have two people putting it together it would be a lot easier. I found this SAME bed being sold locally in my town (pre-assembled) for $600. It's worth the savings to order from Amazon and put it together yourself. But the quality is amazing, Strong, sturday, and it looks like leather. The amount of storage you get is INSANE. Highly recommend this bed. I bought a five foot light strip and slapped it on to the back of the headboard for nice lighting effect. Ooh lala. So chic. I shopped locally for a bed until I got so frustrated with the crap being sold finally I said hell with it and bought this off of Amazon. Such value. Such quality. I'm very very happy with this. I ended up getting a bed, mattress and nightstand for cheaper than I would have gotten the mattress alone if I had shopped locally. HMU if you have any questions. ... show more

I received the first box on time but the second box took if I recall an extra 4 or 5 days to arrive afterwards,but that was alright because everything came out nicely granted that the drawers were the worst to put together it was so hard my hands hurt but everything was great the storage space looks extremely spacious for the most part easy to assemble although took me around 5 hours or more just because of the drawers,it looks sturdy feels sturdy ill know for sure when I get my new mattress and get to test it out hope it goes well ^-^ ... show more

There are some pros and cons I had with this platform bed frame. I will start with the cons… 1) like many have said those drawers were a monster …the wheels are the most challenging and time consuming especially since I put the whole thing together by myself. 2) The pics helped; however the instructions could have been better with a written description also for assembly challenged folks like myself. 3) Would have liked for the base to be a bit higher at least enough to slide my house shoes under or a pair of boxed shoes, tho the drawers do make up a bit for that. 4) on the head board where I wanted it to be higher I couldn’t or the bed would have been slightly slanted and the screws were a bit of a challenge to adjust. 5) Though the drawers come with a latch that help keep the drawers closed, I kind of wish they were on a rolling track of some kind that would better hold them in place like a regular dresser as opposed to them sort of being unattached except for the latch if you use it. Pros: 1) it may take all day but one can put this unit together by yourself. I’m shocked that I actually did it and did it properly. 😄 2) You definitely get your money’s worth with this unit because these platform bed frames cost 3 times as much in the local stores. 3) There is mountains of storage and the width of the drawers is pretty wide and well ventilated. 4) I like that you get a head and footboard. Last frame I had was crap and only got a headboard. I like the quality and that though the headboard may not be real thick, I do love the texture faux leather and that it’s diamond tufted. 5) All in all I would recommend this frame. It is great quality for the price, it’s sturdy, it goes With my other furniture and really pairs well with anything….you can go sporty, contemporary, modern, boho, artsy, or traditional, etc and it will look nice. I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase. If you want it, get it…simple as that. All the best everyone. I know I wrote a book but I wanted to give as much info so anyone looking can see my pics read my book lol 😂 and make an informed decision 😊 ... show more

This queen size platform bed was a quick solution for my recent move. My previous bed frame took too much space in my bedroom so I shopped for a bed frame that would work for me. I ordered this and it was quickly delivered in two boxes and we quickly assembled. What I liked was the added storage under the bed with the four pull out drawers. The back of the headboard is hollow and not a solid fixture. I’m a hobbit sized woman and I assembled this by myself, my only frustration was the stupid wheels for the drawers. It says to not use a drill and I shouldn’t have listened but I don’t own a drill anyways...it’s still dumb. Frame feels super sturdy. Paid $600 at a retail store for much less quality. This thing is rugged and sturdy. Mattress hasn’t come in yet so haven’t gotten to fully “test it”. But compared to the store bought one, in which the slat locks broke, I could tell during the assembly process it was much better quality!
