I have always wanted automated blinds for the house for the longest time and preferably one that would allow wifi connected devices and automated control. These blinds do two things extremely effective from the unboxing. Extremely EASY to install. No tools needed assuming you measured before buying. I had the exact width of the blind which was 34" wide and it locked into my inner frame for the window with no issue. Did not even not to adjust anything or tighten as the fit was flush and holding. More products need to be seamless like this in modern times to make for DIY options. The next best thing was being able to roll and unroll the blinds with one press of a button. Simple and straight forward process. The app was downloaded to make it easier to set the max high and max low settings. Things that I did not like now are the bluetooth function method requiring a 2 second press followed with an auto blinking red light. This was cumbersome and did not engage half the times when trying to activate following instructions. The next is automation clock settings. These blinds DO NOT have a timer set activate function. This is perhaps the biggest loss because my goal was to have a set of blinds that can automatically roll down at say sunrise and roll down at sunset. I have not connected my blinds with any amazon echo or AI type products as the instructions provided steps for doing but if this is the only way to get automated options, I take back my concern. However, being that there is not an option as of now, the end result is a bit disappointing. All in all, the window did get an upgrade and the battery life is to be seen how long lasting it is but I am still impressed. Only a matter of time until we have fully automated and long lasting battery shades. The nice add on of an extra long USB to USB C charging cable was appreciated with the box as this allowed for charging from my wall outlet.

I decided to take a chance on these blinds because we needed a new pair in an extra room. I will say that these motorized blinds are innovative. The no drill installation method makes hanging them quick and easy. My son had these hung in a few minutes. The blinds come with a remote control that allows you to raise and lower the blinds with the press of a couple of buttons. You can also stop them with the remote. We did notice that there is a slight lag in the motion as the blinds adjust. This doesn’t detract from the functionality but it’s something to consider. Honestly, this is less than I expected due to the price. I expected an ultra-smooth, immediate and flawless movement. The smart home integration is a fantastic feature for those who love hands-free control. Once paired with your smart hub (through the app), you can control your blinds with voice commands. There is a slight delay. One feature that is great is the blocking of external light. Another is the white finish, which would work for almost any space. The blinds have a clean and simple design; however, I find that they crease and crinkle very easily. For the price point, I’d like to think that they would be designed to withstand the pressure of the impact when the blind drops down longer than the windowsill and starts to bend and fold.

Easier than most of the regular blinds including no-drill I have ever installed. Out the box and up into the frame, a perfect snug fit. I was surprised the cassette is even smaller than many of my regular blinds considering there is a motor in this one. Setup was easy, set the travel height through the app which was easy. Remote is small and attractive and has a decent range. Unfortunately there is no way to link to G home yet.
