Beans smelled and looked great. Chocolatey notes, medium to strong body. Overall made a really good cup of coffee. I only gave 4 stars because (and this may be specific to me getting old and suffering from reflux more) it wasn't as smooth as other organic beans specifically the low acid ones nor as pleasant as Gevalia or Illy. ... show more

I was not a huge fan of this Italian Roast by Peets, it was far more bitter than most of the Italian Roasts i've tried in the past. I typically like Peets but this wasn't my favorite.
