I am a regular consumer of espresso - usually 3-5 doubles a day. I went through two bags of this, and I generally liked it. To my taste, this is a strong flavored (verging on dark roast) and full bodied coffee. It produces very good amount of crema. Though I usually drink my espresso straight, this one tempted me to add a touch of cream. I think these beans are a little on the oily side as the ground coffee tended to stick to my grinder's bin. Price of this coffee is good, I think. The grinding issue is the main thing that prompted switching back to my usual brand.

First off, WE LOVE KIMBO!! The only Brand we are truly happy with. Only brand we buy since living in Italy. I was super excited when I bought our first bag of beans here on Amazon. The roasted/packed date and best by date was acceptable. Especially considering many other boxes of capsules we’ve bought over the years. Those dates matter! Happy with the first bag of beans , we bought our 2nd bag. The newest bag is just unacceptable. Where did they even find this lot at? Way back in a hidden corner and they’re just want to get rid of it??!! I’m now uncertain about buying again. I really thought we had found a good Amazon supplier. So disappointed right now. I only wish the supplier would be more considerate and take pride in its products to only send out the best. Uploaded pic again 2/13/23 since someone sought to blur out the dates on my first pic

Time and again I'm impressed with Kimbo. They seem to have cracked the secret code of a perfect coffee blend for an espresso. It tastes great as is, in americano, a macchiato or a cappuccino. Balanced pallete, perfect crema, and an aroma that will make your guests beg you for more. This would be the only downside really. Don't share it with anyone, drink it yourself - you deserve the best.
