This is perfect! I specifically bought this to wear with my Renaissance Costume during the winter months because my husband and I attend a lot of outside Ren Fest music events and a lot take place at places that have the shorter chairs and I wanted a jacket I could wear in, hang on the back of the chair and not graze the ground and get dirty, and I wanted it to be cropped enough to still show off my skirts/dresses but long enough to keep my upper body warm. This fits all those requirements perfectly! It’s actually amazingly warm and the color is so perfect for me because most of my attire is composed of warm autumn colors. My only complaint is the pockets are a little small and I can’t really casually rest my hands in them. But they’re still functional and that’s such a small consideration that it isn’t a deal breaker. I will say this most likely runs a little big, I’m a solid xxs-xs and it has extra room but it’s not massive, I could just comfortably wear a thicker sweater. I highly recommend.

I purchased eight different styles of coats from this brand and the sizes are wildly inconsistent between styles. If you're in doubt, purchase two sizes because the size charts are inaccurate. I consistently wear women's US size 8-10 so I ordered both M and L for this style. The M I could barely get on because the shoulders were too narrow and the body too tight. The L in this style is a perfect fit with room for a thick sweater underneath. Same goes for the longer double breasted Peter Pan collar style I tried. All of the other single breasted styles I purchased in a L, I was swimming in. I did not try those in a M. This is not a very cold weather coat. It's perfect for over 40F and no wind. I got this coat in the royal blue and it's lovely and not quite as electric as the photos show on my monitor. The color options, quality of construction and styling are beautiful, in my opinion. I'm happy to own two Allegra K coats. I just wish they'd make the sizing consistent.

Purchased Brown (tan) and Cream colors in 2024 for $70 USD each. Both are fabulous! Stylish. Comfortable. Warm. Size large allows room for bulky sweaters and sweatshirts while not being too big with a blouse or t-shirt. 5'4" 36D. High praise and recommendation.

I had a pea short jacket stolen a few years back. Have been searching daily for something similar. This even better! Tailored, super cute! I did order an extra large. Because I wasn't sure about fit. I'm usually a medium,yet with jackets though,I go larger for sweater weather. And I'm a 36c. The extra large is classy,fitted appropriately and better than the one stolen! This is definitely worth the price! It also is warm,not thick or heavy. Thank you! A forevermore customer!

I initially ordered this coat in the black color. After trying it on, I immediately went back and ordered it in khaki as well. I actually want more colors and may purchase another in the future. First, being 5ft2 with a short torso... a LOT of winter coats are very long on me and awkwardly flare out just under my backside. The length of this is perfect for me, and sits nicely at my hips. This jacket is a fitted style which goes in nicely at the waist and gives a nice feminine shape. I'm around 115 pounds with a 32dd chest. With the XS I have enough room to wear a sweater underneath and still have a fitted silhouette. I'd say if you like to wear multiple layers or are more well endowed, you may want to consider sizing up. I typically only wear a single layer even in winter, so the extra small worked well for me. This jacket looks so cute with jeans and some riding boots, but I also wore it over my knee-length cocktail dress for the holidays and it looked equally nice. Would definitely purchase again!
