I like everything about this coat. Nice fabric.. love the detail, love the fit. I got a medium in blue. I am 5’2” and weigh 135. The length of the sleeves and the jacket is perfect. I did have to use the steamer on it to get wrinkles out, but so worth it. I have gotten several compliments on this jacket. Merci, ALlegra-k……Oh, and it was delivered on the date Amazon said it would be. Perfectly weight for 30degrees and up.

Got mine today. Quality materials, well made, great style, warm and cozy, but some issues with the fit. I'd say these run a tad bit large if you're trying to look like the models wearing these. I got a Medium and it lacks definition in the waist. I'm planning some basic modifications with the buttons to take up some of the slack. Fortunately it ships with extra buttons. I might try making the sleeves a bit tighter, too. This jacket seems like it will get better with use (which is unfortunately hard to find with new clothes these days), so I think it's worth the time and effort to tailor it to my body.

I really like the look and style of this coat, but the fit was a bit off for me. Contrary to some of the other reviews, I think it fits like a petite. I’m 5’5”, 115lbs, and tried the small and medium. (First two photos are the small, and last photo is the medium). The small looked best, but was proportioned a bit short - belt hit me on my rib cage, and the sleeves were just an inch or two shorter than I would have liked. It just felt snug and I think I wouldn’t have reached for it in my closet, though it looks super cute and stylish and seems like it’d be warm. I tried going up in size to a medium but unfortunately it just looked sloppy in the arms and was too wide in the torso, though the arm and waist length was better. I’m also afraid that it’d end up covered in my cat’s fur, as it seems like it might stick and really show up on the black coat. I’m still tempted to keep the small because it’s such a cute coat, but I’m afraid it’s going back.

The cut is horrible & sleeves ridiculously short. I tried multiple sizes & same problem. It fit beautifully until you looked at my arms it was a mix of a kid in slam adults coat & adult in kids coat. Completely inconsistent with measurements & im really disappointed wanted this to fit badly, not enough to extend sleeve or do anything with under arm, I checked with seamstress. Color id nice & like I said looks good till it’s on.

I very rarely write product reviews, but it was so helpful to read previous reviews on this coat before my purchase that I wanted to "pay it forward" for others considering this purchase. It had been decades since I purchased my last "dress" coat. I've only been purchasing athletic style winter coats lately. My last dress coat was quite expensive and not exactly comfortable, although it was warm and stylistically appropriate; so, I was surprised by how comfortable, stylish, flattering and well made this coat was for the price. I'm a bit over 5'7" and between 115-120 and ordered the Medium, which works very well with the arm and coat length. It's a bit abundant in terms of width, but the belt helps conceal that. Kudos and gratitude to Allegra for making such a nice coat at a great price point!

I’m torn about this coat, overall it’s a cute one button wrap, with an additional button closure at the collar. It’s a flattering style and will go with lots of looks from jeans to skirts. The light brown color is really nice, a cool mid taupe, a nice alternative for people who don’t look good in camel. I wear a size 6 in tops and the small fits well. My problem with this coat is that the quality isn’t as good as I would like, the lining shows at the cuffs and looks sloppy, also the fabric seems to wrinkle easily and the finish isn’t very good. It looks pretty much like wool, but isn’t. I like the color and style, but I know I would end up being unhappy with the quality, if it were at a lower price point perhaps I would keep it, but I’m returning it. Disappointed in quality

The first one I ordered was too small so I returned it and ordered a Large. I am 5'8", about 145 - 150 pounds (depending). The fit is perfect and I LOVE that it has a belt. Interestingly, the first one I received came without the belt but Amazon facilitated the return immediately for me. I wore this during a brutally cold weekend in Boston and it kept me nice and warm! Also isn't too bulky like some coats can be.
