I very rarely write product reviews, but it was so helpful to read previous reviews on this coat before my purchase that I wanted to "pay it forward" for others considering this purchase. It had been decades since I purchased my last "dress" coat. I've only been purchasing athletic style winter coats lately. My last dress coat was quite expensive and not exactly comfortable, although it was warm and stylistically appropriate; so, I was surprised by how comfortable, stylish, flattering and well made this coat was for the price. I'm a bit over 5'7" and between 115-120 and ordered the Medium, which works very well with the arm and coat length. It's a bit abundant in terms of width, but the belt helps conceal that. Love, love, love this coat! It is absolutely gorgeous and looks far more expensive than it is. The tailored fit, elegant stand collar, and belted waist create such a polished, flattering silhouette. I've received so many compliments every time I've worn it. It's perfect for dressing up work outfits or wearing out for dinner and special occasions. The quality exceeded my expectations, and it has become one of my favorite winter coats. My only small criticism is the little button latch near the collar. It can be a bit tricky to fasten, especially if you're in a hurry. Thankfully, that's a minor inconvenience compared to how beautiful the coat is. Got mine today. Quality materials, well made, great style, warm and cozy, but some issues with the fit. I'd say these run a tad bit large if you're trying to look like the models wearing these. I got a Medium and it lacks definition in the waist. I'm planning some basic modifications with the buttons to take up some of the slack. Fortunately it ships with extra buttons. I might try making the sleeves a bit tighter, too. This jacket seems like it will get better with use (which is unfortunately hard to find with new clothes these days), so I think it's worth the time and effort to tailor it to my body. ... show more

I’m torn about this coat, overall it’s a cute one button wrap, with an additional button closure at the collar. It’s a flattering style and will go with lots of looks from jeans to skirts. The light brown color is really nice, a cool mid taupe, a nice alternative for people who don’t look good in camel. I wear a size 6 in tops and the small fits well. My problem with this coat is that the quality isn’t as good as I would like, the lining shows at the cuffs and looks sloppy, also the fabric seems to wrinkle easily and the finish isn’t very good. It looks pretty much like wool, but isn’t. I like the color and style, but I know I would end up being unhappy with the quality, if it were at a lower price point perhaps I would keep it, but I’m returning it. Beautiful coat! I’m 5’2 and 125 lbs. The small fit fine with room to spare even while wearing a sweatshirt. I could move my arms and did not feel constricted. It wasn’t too long or was it too short. We got snow last night, so I wore it out with jeans today (after ironing it on low with steam) and will probably wear it to work on Monday. It’ll be fine with both dressy and casual clothes.
