This stuff is incredible. I couldn’t find Braidz N Breez or whatever that red container that everyone uses to slick their hair when braiding- baby this is just as good. This gel smells amazing and not as sticky. Although I will say it’s very oily and doesn’t last long on my edges. It’s great for braiding hair and it does turn white when oil is added to the hair. I have 4c hair so it works great for other textures as well.

This gel is the best I've come across so far for my wiry, thick 4C hair. It slicks and keeps my edges and hair in place without making it hard even after it dries and there's no flaking. I like that it is also of a dark color that makes my grey edges seem darker. Those with light hair might be able to find it in clear gel. I would recommend this gel for those looking for a quick, firm set gel without the hard, drying and flaking.

Initially bought this for someone’s lock retwist, then tried it out on my edges. I was immediately impressed because it smells so good and has a great hold, even if I sweat! It doesn’t turn white. I’ve used it for feed ins, baby hairs, or slicking my hair back in the front before applying a wig. Zero complaints.

I bought this for my daughter, she is mixed and her edges are always a mess, so I bought it for her. However, I wanted to try it to fix my hair because I'm in the army and by the end of the day my hair is always a complete fluf from taking the PC off and putting the PC on. This is after a day of work and it's still looking great. I diluted with water though...didn't use plain product. Excellent.

This isn’t the best gel i’ve used, but definitely not the worst. the hold is strong and it’s very thick, however it does leave a soft white/grey cast when applied. a little goes a long way with this gel but I used it for my braids and it left a weird cast on my hair and I had no other products in. another issue i had was that it left a film over my hair differently than other gels do. it’s makes it hard to grip and leaves your fingers really sticky lol. i probably wouldn’t buy this gel again or have it as my first recommendation but it does work.
