I really like these Blink Mini 2 cameras, I have 4 of them installed in my house and they are great for keeping an eye on things both when no one is at home and when I’m in a different room than my toddler and I need to see what he’s getting into for the times he gets suspiciously quiet. The Blink Mini 2 cameras open up quickly when I go to the live feed in the Blink app and have very clear picture and sound quality. The microphone feature is very helpful if I need to get my son’s attention or tell him something when I’m in a different room of the house. I like that there’s a light feature as well but I don’t use it, it could come in handy if I needed. The motion activation works well. I have one of these cameras mounted in my garage so I know if anyone is coming or going. It also doubles as a “did I remember to close the garage door” camera because my wife and I have left our house numerous times asking that very question. Now it’s just a matter of opening up the Blink app, checking the live feed from the garage camera, and confirming that the door is closed. Overall, I’m very happy with the Blink Mini 2 indoor cameras. They work well for giving me quick access to check different rooms in my house and offer a lot of features for cheap (especially if you pick these up during sales). The USB cord to power the cameras provides ample length to reach to a nearby power outlet but a simple USB extension cable can be added if needed. These cameras work great for my use and I highly recommend them!

’m very happy with the Blink Mini 2. I have a housekeeper and a 7-month-old baby, and this camera gives me peace of mind, letting me check on them anytime. The night vision is excellent, it performs all its functions perfectly, and the installation was very easy. Highly recommended!

This camera, according to the instructions, is for indoor use only. However, the pictures associated with it on the Amazon page clearly shows it mounted outdoors. Someone needs to make it clear if it is indoor/outdoor or strictly indoor use. That being said, setup was a snap (once I located the QR code). The Blink app is easy to navigate. I just replaced my battery operated Blink camera. It will be nice not to have to mess with batteries. Functionality is good. Camera quality appears to be good. Good value for the money especially since I got it at a good deal during prime days! It would be nice if Blink would put another mounting port on the camera so the words are right side up when mounted under a shelf. There is a feature allowing you to flip the picture, but my OCD kicks in… 🙂

I bought the Blink Mini 2 to monitor the interior of my home, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The image quality is very good, both day and night, thanks to its clear night vision. Setup was quick and easy: I was set up with the app in less than 10 minutes. I love that it has motion detection with real-time notifications, and the two-way audio works perfectly for communicating with my family (and even my dog!). I also appreciate that it now includes local storage with the Sync Module 2. Due to its compact size, it can be placed anywhere without attracting attention. In short, it's an excellent option if you're looking for an affordable, reliable, and easy-to-use camera. Highly recommended!

Bought this camera to keep an eye on my cat. Pros: The camera is durable and made very well. The video quality is decent. The view is very wide angle. And at $20 it was a steal. Cons: (1) Decrease in functionality once free premium subscription was over. (2) Extended live view is only 5 mins without subscription. (3) Subscription required for recording (1) Other people wrote about this, so I ended the free subscription to see if the camera is worth keeping. The camera did in fact have a loading issue once the subscription was over. Where before the camera opened instantaneously, now it takes 2 to 3 seconds of load time before it opens. I definitely felt the difference enough to warrant buying a Kasa camera (where you don't need to have a subscription for live extended view) and compare. (Note: KASA also as a lag time of 2 to 4 seconds, so not worth the change on that). (2) IF you have raucous pets or kids or need to keep an eye out on an elderly parent for longer than 5 mins at a time then this camera is NOT for you -- unless you're okay with buying a subscription for extended live view. Basic is $30 a year, and premium is over a $100. (3). If the desire is to use this for a security camera you will need a subscription. I don't need this feature for my cat. Conclusion: It's a great camera for what it can do overall. It's built very nice, and it has some weight to it. It doesn't feel cheap at all. It also connected easily and quickly to my duel wi-fi (5 ghz and 2.5 ghz). For me, I bought this camera to keep an eye out on my cat. She's pretty calm. I only check up on her a few times a day for a few seconds at a time. I don't watch her for a minute. Without a subscription, hitting the continue button every 60 seconds is not an issue for my needs. Without a plan you get only 5 mins of continuous extended view. However, all you have to do is close the view and then hit play again and you get 5 more minutes. It's that simple. If I were going out of town, I would likely buy the subscription for a month so I could keep it on for longer than 5 mins and to record video for security purposes.
