Top Amazon Reviews

  • Edited: Mistake...not so much after all
Edit: I'd like to re-rate this item and seller. Much deserved. Likely was my bad to start with. Because of my own expectations. READ ON, so it doesn't happen the same to you. The seller does provide with the purchase a sheet with links to videos how to troubleshoot common issues. I was able to navigate myself out of my issue, thanks to following carefully those pre-provided steps. They do offer live customer service, but I didn't had to escalate that far. For this they do get my support because they do take responsibility for their products, and they are a step ahead of any potential issues. >> You, the buyer, but must the one grounded and have realistic expectations. This is not a national recognizable brand-name product costing you thousands of dollars for the top-notch performance you might expect, but considering you do have budget limitations (otherwise you won't even consider this brand), it will get you where you need to be soon. << So I recommend it, but be aware that your unit may also have similar issues out of the box that may aggravate you. You may need to take manners in your own hands. If that works for you and are willing to take the risk, also again, considering your budget limitations, then go ahead. Get this brand. About my issue: I simply tinker around the hardware to made sure all was connected right, wipe off a few components, took off the battery/reinserted, this and that, and voilà! The shut-off issue was fixed, and the colors on my display are much better. Now I can trust it to do most of my school work on it. The keyboard and mouse provided are not the modern you'd prefer, but it is provided, and they will get the job done. If you prefer, as I did, get your own mouse and keyboard to your liking. Mine, total both, were about 20 bucks on sale out of Amazon itself. Keep the originals as spare units. Don't make a big deal out of it. Those were courtesy bonuses. My all-in-on PC came in perfectly wrapped and secured in the packaging and was delivered sooner than expected. No issue with that. Consider your purpose, budget limitations, stay realistic, and be prepared to likely having to roll-off your sleeves. Cheers! --- Original review for historical value. This is one of the few purchases that I regret. It was a big mistake. It simply shuts down on its own after a few minutes. Or when it the table is slightly move. So is really sensitive or temperamental. Either way, I was really hoping it works out, but even for the intended light use around (only for university classes), it is unreliable. I can’t trust it — can’t imagine shutting down again on its own while taking a quiz, test or being proctored 🤦🏻♀️. Could be my unit alone. If you don’t mind the risk, then this is for you. As for me, I am off to save up for a reliable one. I wish I didn’t blew my initial budget trying to cut corners here. ... show more
