I got the green butterfly and pink butterfly corsets. I received the green one first and was IN LOVE, it's perfect. So I was really excited to get the pink one too! Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the pink one though... It's a beautiful dusty rose and the ribbon ties are also a lovely, lighter shade of dusty rose. The ribbon trim around the outside? Barbie pink. Not terrible, however, dusty rose and hot barbie pink don't exactly go together and unfortunately it's not like the ties that I can easily replace, it's the whole trim. Sadly it no longer matches the renfair outfit I got it for so I'll have to return it.

I got an XL, if you're looking for a more conservative fit, size up. But I enjoy this fit on myself. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cute top or just going to a Renaissance fair. And it's comfortable and doesn't seem like it's cheap.

I’m 5’7”, 36C, 140lb, 32” waist. I’m normally a medium so I went with a large for a tighter, bustier fit. It is very shapely and if I had a push up bra it would do the trick! The large is very snug on me after cinching myself in, looks fantastic but I won’t be taking a full deep breath anytime soon in it. So go one size up for super shapely snug fit and 2 sizes up if you want to breathe and do more than a slow walk.

The sizing for this corset (green floral and butterfly design) wasn’t as off as some of the others, but it was for sure a little small. I knew going in it would be off so I ordered an XL when I normally would have gone with an L. Glad I did, because it was the perfect size (even though corsets are adjustable, you can only go so far before you have a gape in the corset across your back held together by the ribbons lol). I washed it on cold and hung it to dry with no issues. Would buy again!

I bought this as my first corset a while ago and have since worn/mad many others and learned a lot in the process that I want to share! Because this corset is relatively cheap, the flaws it had were expected for me. In general, I've been happy with the comfort—sometimes steel is a bit more rigid than my body wants to put up with, and this is a great solution for that. That said, the plastic plastic (and honestly all the other materials) used is not super high quality synthetic whalebone. It's a budget variety (expected—otherwise how are the sellers supposed to make a profit at such a low price point? ) that warps a lot more easily and tends to give a little bit of a bubbling effect around the hips and tummy. If you have some skills as a sewist, this can be fixed by adding interior padding to flatten/smooth those areas. My other criticism of this corset is to do with the fit and patterning. Comparing my measurements to the size chart got me a corset that is too big (I ordered a small). I've included my measurements below for reference, but I'm going to elaborate on how and where it doesn't fit me because it might be helpful. I can lace it fully closed and still have extra space (generally speaking, a well fitting corset will have a gap in the back). More importantly, it is too big in the waist. Historically, a lot of people padded the bust and hips of their corsets to enhance the illusion of an hourglass figure, but the corset always needed to fit in the waist. Having a naturally hourglass body-type, it's clear to me that while this corset is advertised (in the images) as an hourglass shaped corset, it is patterned for a square or inverted triangle body type. That is to say, for us hourglass girls, if this corset fits in the hips, it'll be too big in the waist, and if it fits in the hips, it'll be too small in the waist. There is also something slightly off about the patterning of this corset (besides the lack of a waist tape), and I'm still trying to work out exactly what (will update if I figure it out). Essentially, the problem I'm noticing is that when I'm wearing the corset, the busk wants to slant to one side rather than sitting straight up and down. It might be related to the way the fabric was cut (which grain it's running on), but I'm still figuring. Finally, a note for the itty-bitty-titty committee: it might be too roomy to wear without additional support—it is for me. I usually wear modern padded bras with it, but you could also use a historical bust improver if you're doing historical dress of some kind. My measurements for reference: Full Bust w/bra: 36-37" Full Bust w/out bra: 35 3/4" Rib cage: 30" Waist: 26 1/2" Front-waist: 17 1/4" Back-waist: 18" Rise: 10" Low Hip: 38 1/2"

The media could not be loaded. My only complaint is that the ribbons are pretty flimsy, but that such an easy fix. For the price of the corset, the quality exceeded my expectations! It's sturdy, comfy, cute. It does run small, so I definitely reccomend sizing up, I typically wear an XL but ordered a 4X.
