I received my beautiful Alienware M18 Laptop in July of 2025. Now I find out my one year of premium support ended in April of 2025. Poor. Real poor. Do better.

I got this a little bit ago and it worked fine for about a day. Then it went to sleep. Now every time it goes to sleep, it won't turn back on. I also can't change it so that it doesn't go to sleep within fifteen minutes. I've tried Amazon support and apparently they can't replace it, saying that the supplier doesn't have any...except, it's still for sale, so I don't know what they're doing. I'm incredibly disappointed with this and the Dell Alienware website for support has been useless, too. This is way too expensive to have these types of problems. ... show more

Beware of Dell: A Disastrous Experience with Alienware M17 R5 and Customer Support I recently made the mistake of purchasing an Alienware M17 R5 from Dell, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Within just five days of use, the laptop mysteriously went blank. After contacting Dell's customer support and enduring numerous troubleshooting sessions, they finally admitted that the motherboard was faulty and needed replacement. That was three months ago, and the issue remains unresolved to this day. Dell's customer support has been abysmal throughout this ordeal. Despite their promises of a premium warranty and top-notch service, they have utterly failed to deliver any solution to my problem. I am now stuck with what can only be described as a high-end piece of garbage, for which I shelled out a significant amount of money. I deeply regret ever investing in Dell's brand and products. Moving forward, I have decided to switch to MSI computers, as I can no longer trust Dell to provide reliable products or support. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a laptop or any other computer from Dell to exercise extreme caution. To further highlight the incompetence of Dell's customer support and the poor quality of their products, I will be posting a detailed video review on my channel. Even if you pay for their bitterly expensive premium support plan they will only warranty the battery for one year. They have declared batteries to be consumables!! BEWARE!!! powerful laptop, handles all games and programs perfectly. But the video card burned out after a year and a half. Another confirmation that for games and big tasks you need a desktop computer. Now it's a pity to throw it away and there is no point in repairing it.
