Slick well priced entry-mid level gaming and general purpose PC
Style: RTX5060 Ti
Great deal at the sale price at the time ($1739). Slightly disappointed in the 5060ti card being the el cheapo 8GB version but will be fine for my needs. Rig otherwise built very well with liquid cooling, high performance airflow, 1000+W power supply. Was able to extend the warranty via Dell’s website with no issues to 3 years vs the basic 1 year provided - this was a bit of a test to see if Dell would support the rig since it’s been modified from service tag specification. Beautiful glass side panels shows off the tasteful internal illumination (under the CPU cooler and around the rear exhaust fan) - plus the lighting around the front side “arena” intake is a great touch. System is ultra quiet - hard to tell it’s even on - great for a multi-use room like mine (office/bedroom/study). I added “black” heat spreader 32GB 6400mhz DIMMs from my Alienware A51 that had be upgraded to 64GB (right before the prices went nutty - lucky!) as I’d say that was the only unsightly object in the case were the basic non-covered DIMMs in the system. Was able to overclock via RBSU/BIOS to XMP speeds and system tools all show the memory now at 6400mhz. Generous 2TB M.2 SSD storage is excellent and high speed as you’d expect. I threw in a 1TB WD Black M.2 from an older HP Omen in the 2nd M.2 slot just for fun and it read as an extra drive after two reboots and a quick NTFS format. Will probably use as internal backup until I get an external backup at this remote location. System came quickly and seemed packaged in original Dell Alienware packaging and setup with zero issues. Highly recommend this system and seller.
