Needed this laptop very quickly. Called Dell and they just couldn't get it shipped quick enough. Not a problem. Saw exactly the one I wanted here on Amazon and it came in the next day. It had all the specs I wanted, even though I wanted the 980 Graphics card. I couldn't afford the 4K touchscreen but I had no choice but to dish out some extra cash. I was initially going to give this a 4 stars because it came with a dead TB Sata drive. Called Amazon and they gave me 20% off which was more than enough to buy my own and install. This laptop in my opinion is one of the best gaming laptops out there. I do a lot of editing with videos and photos... it keeps right up. It is heavy so at times when I'm in a hurry I'll grab my beast 6 year old Dell 14z for errands. But when it's game time or editing time, I have this out on my desk and away we go! Battery life is excellent however when playing games, you'll need to have the power cord connected. I loved the Microsoft 10 upgrade. Works so much better with what I do on my laptop. Other than this all I can say is, I would have bought a Alienware Desktop but I move around a lot (kids), Ethernet/ wifi, so I need something for on the go. Besides it's heavy weight and that it heats up like crazy, I'd still buy it again. Keypad is great. Touch screen is awesome. 4K is cool. Just need to figure out a way to keep it cooler while I'm gaming. Might have to invest in cooing base. ... show more

    • Keyboard stopped working 4 days later.
After using it for about 4 days the letters f and t would not work. Guess what my password required those 2 letter could not log into my account upon further invetigation turns out enter the keyboard does not work also. Tried numerous things threw dell website. When i was acutally to log after 3 days of trying. Turned out that it stopped working again the same 3 buttons. Returned the item for a replacement. I'll keep it updated. ... show more

I'm pretty disappointed with this computer after what I spent. I immediately upgraded it to Windows 10 upon arrival. It said it was Windows 10 ready. I have had problem after problem, including problems with start up and shutdown. I get the blue screen of death at least once a day even after installing all available driver updates and Windows updates. This is the second Dell computer I have owned and I have been disappointed both times. I decided to spend a lot more than normal for a computer this time in order to avoid switching to Mac. I hate Macs, but they seem to last, which is more than I can say for the PCs I have owned. And when I pay nearly $2,000 for a laptop, I expect it to work. Unfortunately, I live outside of the US right now, so I am stuck with this machine and my regret... ... show more

Damn thing overheats like an oven, Cant scroll through facebook without the video drivers crashing, Sims 3 crashes on this computer, in my opinion if your not a computer enthusiast dont not purchase.

It is good. The delivery is too slow. I upgrade win8 to win 10 and install Ubuntu in this laptop. By now, every thing works well. However, again, it is pretty heavy, please consider its weight when you want to buy it.

Best laptop I have owned to date! Processing speed is incredible! I run Adobe Printshop, Quickbooks, and Xactimate simultaneously and it doesnt make a dent!
