This was easy to start up and use, sturdy despite the plastic involved, and mostly fit my desk, though I added a silicone piece to keep it from sliding around. Would recommend.

This winder is well-made and made a short, wide cake with fingering weight yarn. The problem is, the clamp part is really tall so it doesn't fit on the tables I use to wind my yarn. It loses the grip part of the threads before it's tight enough to grab the table. I had to return it.

This is a great yarn winder. Took a couple times to get it right but got it down pat. Only con I got with this, the tail gets caught within the yarn your winding. So maybe have a really long tail on the winder? 🤷♀️ This yarn winder is definitely gonna help with the workflow better for caking. Get this winder 😎👍
