I was a little concerned when I bought this awning because it was not rated. The instructions were very poor; however, once I figured it all out and installed it, it seems to work just fine. It is very nice looking and does the job great. Long term, if the spring loaded drum holds up, this will prove to be a very great value given the cost and fact it can be shipped via normal carriers. The awning drum comes in sections so it breaks down. Aleko shipped this free to me and other awning manufactures charge over $150.00 and it has to be shipped to a commercial address.

Love this awning. It's absolutely perfect for what I need it for. Plus it very inexpensive compared to other products. And very sturdy and well designed. Only problem, is the installation instructions absolutely suck. Almost like a 5 year old designed and wrote the instructions. But the overall product is great. Definitely recommend.

Like all the other reviews say the instructions are absolutely horrible. The company that sells these in the states should really redo the instructions or make an install video. I installed it myself (which I do not recommend) in about 3 hours. I ended up using different mounting hardware as the stuff supplied was too small for my application. So plan on trips to the hardware store if you don’t have a stock of stainless fasteners. I’m happy with the overall quality being that the price was the cheapest on the market that I could find.

An absolutely fantastic product for the price. Was easy enough to install, I did it very leisurely in one day mostly by myself. I did need to have a little help feeding it into the grove on the drum and rail on the motor home… was all together pretty simple, looks and works great! - the structure is good quality and I have been impressed with it so far. There are many that have a higher quality fabric, but if you treat this one decent it should last many years. I’ve had mine for 2 years and it still looks like brand new… but I live in the Pacific Northwest (rain and mud county) so… I don’t know how it would last in the heat and sun!… might fade?… don’t know. But in conclusion… I am completely satisfied with this especially for the price - 1/6th of the $$$$ I was quoted to having one installed by Camping World!

The awning is a great value. But the installation instructions weren't really good.. The mounting screw weren't adequate for RV.I installed it on a Winnebago class c RV.the travel lock on the slide arms are way too high up you need a small ladder open and close it..but I was able to use common sense and install it...its an ok awning for the price..

This product came in an opened box and the instructions were folded and dirty. There are parts missing and the fasteners are of no use. I had to make my own modifications. I contacted the company and they offered zero assistance. If you are not a seasoned mechanic do not buy this. The locking mechanism is poorly designed and failed after less than 10 uses. I removed the lock bracket and devised my own. I saw no way to take the roller apart and repair.

This is an initial review... leaving room to raise my rating. It appears to be a nice awning once installed. I thought about installing it myself, but upon arrival I thought better of it and hired someone to do it. As other reviews have said, the instructions suck... It took the pro 3 hours with a helper costing nearly $400 in labor. No complaints about that, they did a great job and the awning looks good, but some facets seem a bit cheaply made. On that note, I can't expect too much when the awning is half the price of its typical competitors but it drops another star for that. I'm taking my rig our next weekend and will follow up this review after a weekend adventure!

I really shopped around for a camper awning. These are a big money item. You can buy the Aleko complete awning kit for what you can just buy the awning roller from other brands! I'm not sure why these cost so much, but Aleko is very good quality. My kit came in missing the awning track that attaches to the Rv. I sent an email to Aleko, and a couple days later it was at my door, no questions asked. No w that's customer service. I did most of the instal myself, but had the wife help me slide the fabric through the track so I didn't tear it. She also helped me hang the main tube onto the brackets, other than that it was pretty easy.
