I have to admit that it is much better than I expected for an inflatable hot tub! The water took quite a while to heat up (almost 24 hours in 50-ish Fahrenheit lows) but is holding its temperature nicely. The instructions say to change the water every couple of days, which would make my power bill go through the roof, I think, but I am hoping that keeping the water treated, as I would in a "real" hot tub, will allow me to not have to change it that often. The bubbles are much stronger than I expected, and I like that they time out after about half an hour, because it tells me it is time to get out. Installation was easy. The cover is a bit difficult to put on/take off. I ended up just unclipping two of the buckles and folding the cover back a bit when I use it, and that works. The hot tub immediately developed (or already had) a very slow leak, as it is on my upper deck and it is dripping onto the ground below. At first, I hoped it was just water that had spilled over or leaked from the hose that I filled it with, but the drip continues and the water level in the tub is slowly going down. I can't find the leak, so I am guessing it is near the bottom somewhere. I don't want it sitting on my deck, keeping the wood wet 24/7, so I will likely dismantle it and set it up where it can sit on concrete or the ground. Ultimately, when you compare the cost of this to the cost of a more permanent hot tub, it is much better than I expected, and if it weren't for the leak, I would definitely give it five stars. It is much too cumbersome to empty it, deflate it, and send it back, and the leak is small, so I will live with it and/or try to find and patch it down the road. I would likely not buy another one after this one gives up the ghost, but it was a good chance to find out that I like having a hot tub without investing in the cost of a more permanent one. ... show more

Had issue with inside plug not holding, outside cap not sealing proper so it leaked. Need to do a better job at designing draining system.

The power of the bubble jets exceeded my expectations! 104 is adequate top temp. Set up was super easy. The only caveat is the power of the heater. The bubble jets last for 20 minutes and the temp drops a solid 6 degrees in that time. We had 2 hard freeze nights since we got it, but has been pretty mild since. We’ll see how it goes after it gets colder. (November in Missouri) I don’t expect to use it all winter, but I do think we could do some things to extend the season. All in all, it’s the best $450 I’ve ever spent. If I only get 2-3 years out of, it is worth it! ... show more

    • Defective unit

After reading the product info and details I decided upon the following unit. Ordered 3-4-23 I received the unit Saturday 3-11-23 I set up the unit 3-16-23 I checked the temp the following morning at 5 AM ET and found it to be rising and at 96° F. Set point was 104° and water level was the same as at set up last evening. After work at 2PM ET, I found water level to be 4-5" below full level. Unit was placed upon 2" rigid foam insulation to level and make sure bottom of unit was not in contact with any sharp objects as per Aleko direction packet. After checking the unit, it appears there is a leak somewhere on the bottom. Possibly a seam. I sent Pics showing set up, water beneath unit and order info. I requested a new unit to be sent and I would return the defective item. The response was a $50 dollar credit. Very dissatisfied customer. Dont waste your money folks. I have a bad leaking unit that I can't do anything with. I asked for a replacement to no avail. I am currently in The market for a replacement. ... show more

This is set up outside in an enclosed space on a patio. The hot tub heats well once going, I recommend filling with hot water if you want it to get hot faster- once hot. It’s remained hot in our over night lows of 40. It did get two leaks in the first 48 hours. So sweep, sweep again, blow, sweep again. It weighs approximately 1200lbs when full- so truly princess and the pea. The bubbler works great. The cover works well and can lock. Ours did not come with patch glue. Chemicals are hard to balance at first. Take your time. Filter system isn’t as you would think, waaaay simpler. The filter also doesn’t creat any “swirling” effect. Maybe minor movements to just pull a little water through. be careful that when you put the water in, the tub does get wider. Also the drain does not connect to a standard hose - I had to create a syphon to get water out. All the attachment areas are on the long side(didn’t work great for our setup). All in all good little tub. I have a good score just highlighted the challenges. For the money (1/4-1/6 the price of a hard side hot tub) it is worth a try. ... show more
