I did not take a before picture but it was very bulky. I had to pull some branches out to thin it out so it could look ok in my 45 gallon. It could be fine for a bigger tank maybe, but it looked too big and cramped in mine. Now it looks ok. Other than that, it’s soft and feels nice, goes all the way to the top of the water, decent color. Overall it is good. I think the shrimp might like hiding in it.

I put this in my outdoor pond to add areas for the fish to seek shelter from predators (mainly birds) - and they seem to really enjoy them. Right now the color is gorgeous, but I expect in time the algae will change that. Which is okay. I treat my pond with algae cleaner so we will see if that keeps these clean. If not, that's okay! I want my pond to look as natural as possible.

First off I love these plants! Not silk but WAAAAY softer and safer than any of the plastic plants you'll buy at the big name stores. Nice heavy base to keep the plant in place. I was shocked when I opened the package because these plants are super soft and "floppy" instead of hard and stiff standing straight up (lol) if you know what I mean. I laughed when I first opened it thinking there's noway this will look good in my tank, but once it's down in the water the "branches" all float and stand up giving it a real plant vibe, they blow around with the current inside your tank and I LOVE IT... makes it look so much better! I have the tall one right infront of my canister outlet so it's softly blowing around all day, looks awesome! A couple of my cichlids love swimming thru these plants too, my red streak severum has made the tall one his home, he sleeps right in middle of the plant every night! Another thing I love about this plant and specifically the red/greeb color is I have a Fluval Aquasky light and I can make the plant look completely different with a couple taps of the buttons in the app, changing the blue/green/red etc... It looks really cool at night time. One night I can make the green pop and look really lime green and another night I can turn the colors down and it will make the red pop etc.... Very fun to play with and gives new character to your tank! The only negative I can think of is upon receiving the tall plant there was 1 branch loose in the package not attached, I had to reglue it before putting it in my tank.... Then after about 2-3 weeks 2 more branches broke off and were floating around in the tank. (you can see them in the last picture) BUT the seller was quick to make it right and replaced the plant for free. Very good customer service in my experience! Overall GREAT artificial plants for your tank, much better/softer/cheaper/realistic than anything you will find in the stores. Highly recommend, already ordered another small one for my 20 gallon beta tank!
