It’s built kinda cheaply, but nobody can tell because it looks like a real gator in the tank. Lightweight & you can adjust the air flow. I get the impression that my fish love it. Not noisy & worth the money. Fits perfectly in a 10 gallon, heavily planted tank. Named him Jean-Baptiste.

    • Mouth gets stuck sometimes but still fun!!
The media could not be loaded. This is very easy to set up. The size is great since it's not too big and blends in well with the tank. I have it on an adjustable valve at the lowest setting and his mouth opens and closes pretty well. It does make a slight "clunk" when his mouth closes but it doesn't seem to bother the fish at all. My only complaint would be that it does get stuck sometimes - his mouth won't open and the bubbles come out of the hinge behind his head instead. It's not that big of a deal, and eventually works its way back to bubbling again. Great little addition to the tank, especially for the price. ... show more

    • Not perfect, but still really cool
The media could not be loaded. Overall we are really happy with this product! It does exactly what we were hoping it would do. You will need to purchase a pump to attach. The one thing that is not quite perfect is, it’s jaw does not line up. But it’s not a big deal. My son loves it! We are happy!

    • Not a very durable product
This product doesn’t have a long life span. It only lasted and worked with the parts it came with for about 6 months. Then we changed the air filter and it only worked about about a month longer. Very cute and perfect size though.

    • Cute but with defects
My particular alligator has a serious cross bite. The jaws do not line up properly and so his bite goes sideways a little. Not a huge deal, but it is worth noting. The inlet pipe is fragile and bends easily.
