We like this sofa. We've had it for 13 days now so I can't speak to how well it holds up. And I wouldn't say it is like sitting on a cloud, but it is comfortable & not stiff. At first we thought the brackets on the base were placed incorrectly. But then we realized it is just that every corner piece is exactly the same, whether it is on the right or the left. That means on one side the longer piece is in the back, and on the other the longer piece is on the side, since it is exactly the same, just turned 90 degrees. It looks fine with cushions on it. We likely never would have noticed if we hadn't put it together ourselves. This is a super deep sofa. I am almost 6' tall and if I sit all the way back my feet don't touch the floor. The actual couch is decent but this thing is a NIGHTMARE to put together. The hardware and latches DO NOT fit and you most definitely will need to finesse to MAKE it fit. I watched that video maybe about 10 times and there’s no way in hell I have the same couch they have in that video. I’m deeply annoyed that I spent so much my money on something that was so poorly made. 0/10, would not recommend. ... show more

    • They look beautiful but are very cheaply made.
I was really scared to buy a sectional online but I checked the return policy and I thought If we don't like them we can return them. Everyone loves them, they are so pretty, so beautiful, like sitting on a cloud. They are low and wide so we put it in our family room. We got the entire set, L shape-ottoman and console. I will try to post some photos soon. You will not regret this buy. It will transform any room. Update: I will leave the original review because it is true. They look and feel beautiful for a few months. After a few months, they will all cave in. The amount of lint balls that will be formed in this material is unbelievable. So much that you won’t have a tiny single spot where the arterial will be clear of lint balls. I purchased a machine to shave them but they form back within a couple of days. I opened them for a wash and the pouch that holds the feathers isn’t sewn right and everything fell out. They are so beautiful but so poorly made. We have two living rooms so we don’t even use these all the time. I have been so stressed with these couches because I really loved them at first and am so disappointed. This is the most expensive sofa I’ve ever purchased and yet still the worst. I’ve genuinely never been so disappointed in a furniture purchase in my 15 years of homeownership First, the clips that hold the sections together don’t work, so the pieces slide away from each other and often have to be moved back in place. Within a few months of owning it, we had 4 frames that were so sunken and bent that the couch was uncomfortable to sit on. The cushions were also flattened and no amount of fluffing would hold their shape. The covers also had horrible pilling. About 6 months into owning it, I reached out to Albany Park with pictures, and they sent me 4 replacement frames and new cushions for all 5 sections. They told me they had been redesigned to avoid all of these issues. However, within a few months, 4 frames had sunken again, one so bad it can’t be used, and the new cushions are worse than the original. These slide off constantly and have to be moved back into place several times per day PLUS they have horrible pilling just like this first, so much so that they are uncomfortable to sit on. I’ve reached out to the company again, and they told me they are aware of the pilling problem with this particular fabric and are currently re-designing it. They say they will send me new cushion covers with new fabric in the next few months, and I am still waiting to hear back from them whether they will replace the frames, but if the frames have not been redesigned, I don’t have much faith that the sinking problem will go away with the third set. I’m so genuinely confused by all the great reviews I’ve read about this sectional, and if I could, I would much rather have my money back. ... show more

    • Hard & poorly made
I bought the Kova from the company and it's a huge disappointment! Cons: Couch showed up with no notice it was coming. Pieces do NOT fit together. Like slamming and jamming to get it in place (that pregnant woman putting the couch together is completely false). Hard as a rock! There's no support under that fluffy pillow piece. Oh and one piece actually had the hardware on backwards- like we had to drill it into the correct placement. ... show more

AVOID AVOID AVOID. I received the Kova Grand Pit 3 weeks ago. I was not sent all the pieces and am still without living room furniture 3 weeks later. Additionally, brackets were installed wrong and I had to hire a contractor to correct them. Seeing all the issues, Albany Park's "resolution" is unsatisfactory and unacceptable. ... show more
