I installed these cross bars onto my 2012 Toyota Sienna to hold a large Thule Evolution cargo box for a trip from Northern California to San Diego. In all, it was a 1000K+ mile round trip. I did not hear a peep from these racks. That said, my max speed was just over 80mph due to the large cargo box sitting on top of the van. The maximum load capacity can not exceed 150lbs due to the built-in rack system on the Toyota Sienna itself. This means that no matter what brand cross bars you install, they can only support up to 150lbs. These cross bars are so stealth, I’m planning to just keep them atop my van going forward. I’ve already taken the cargo box down, but that’s due to the fact that I can’t drive too fast with it up there. All in all, I’d gladly recommend these cross bars. ... show more

    • Cheap version that fits factory Toyota Sienna Rails
We bought these, as we needed to put a Yakima SkyBox on our minivan. These went on very easily. I used hex bolts instead of the knobs that were provided, in order to keep the box/rails more secure. These rails held onto a fully loaded box, with speeds of 85+, and I did not notice any wiggle, or sounds above the ordinary. One recommendation, if you swap in hex screws, make sure you get some that are stainless steel... mine have started to rust, and streak the rails. ... show more

These went on easily, just clamped over the side bars for the roof rack. They feel very well made, and plenty sturdy. Cheaper than the official Toyota version, and look like they were custom made for this car.
