  • Fast delivery, easy install
Easy to install, instructions fairly easy to understand. Fits the Impreza well and the aerodynamic crossbars don't make noise as some racks do. Should note that the clamping parts are all plastic, so the 150lb rating should not be exceeded as some folks did and complained about.

  • Awrsome so far.
So far it looks great. I got them today for my 2017 crosstrek and looks just like I wanted. Few cons the screws that come with it are cheap. Yeah I'm a guy knew what I was doing and installed them backwards. I knew something wasn't fully right, call it mans intuition, so I went to the instructions. Fixed the small problem and the gaps went away and they looked better. Oh right the cons, the screws that come with it are cheap and I may have stripped them when installing with the cheesy tool they came with. So I went to home depot and got some stainless metric screws and it worked like a charm. Won't get to really use them until my basket arrives and my trip but looking forward to it. I'll be updating when I hop on the freeway in the morning see If there's any noise. So far no noticeable noise from inside my car. ... show more

  • Barra Transversal para Subaru XV o Crosstrek
La Barra la instale en una Subaru Crosstrek 2016, no adapta al 100% pero hay que acomodarla, al final resulta funcional.

  • Not a perfect fit for 2017 Crosstrek
I have a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek which was mentioned as compatible. Technically they do fit, but the back crossbar is not short enough and cannot adjust back very far. Not only is it too long to go all the way back, but it can't even be inserted where Subaru recommends to install it at 5.25in from the back. It's more like 8in from the back. I will be attempting to cut it down, but that still means I have to thread at least one screw hole to make it work. Pretty annoyed about that. Also the paint is pretty cheap and not very black. I assume it will wear off within a year or two and then they will be somewhat bare aluminium. I kinda wish they were just black hard plastic so you wouldn't have to worry about the paint and such. Maybe that wouldn't necessarily hold as much weight, but I think it would if it were made right and i also think that would make them less expensive. The screws didn't seem to be cheap like some people suggested. Oh but the rubber pads always seem to fall out when moving them around. I think I'll have to use some rubber cement or silicone to get them to stay. ... show more

  • Instructions not great, but relatively easy to figure out
It took a bit of interpretation of the instructions, but I figured it out, they feel solid and work fine so far. I haven't hauled the kayaks yet, and I may need to do some micro adjustments with time.

  • Good costumer service
They do the job, but they could be made out of better material. Used them for 4 days with my cargobox and they are already ripped apart. Since my first post the company’s costumer service has contacted me with compensation for a diffective rack. I’m adding another star for the great costumer service. ... show more

  • Don't mount them too tight, they're only plastic.
I suggest reading the instructions. Oh wait they're only pictures. I broke the mounting bracket tighten them too tight. Don't do that.

  • Inferior Materials
Just put these on although I got them a few months ago. They seem solid enough but as mentioned in another review the the screw heads and the supplied allen wrench are too soft and easily stripped as you tighten them. I threw away the key and used a harder tool which made things better. I don't plan on taking the rails off so if they remain tight then all is good. Still, I wonder why such inferior materials were used. ... show more
