They're brake pads. They stop. Don't skip the break in procedure. These work fine.
I got these ceramic brake pads for my 2007 Impala SS. These pads seem well made and robust. One thing about ceramic brake pads is that they MUST be broken in. This can be accomplished by : 1) five aggressive to moderate stops from 40 mph to 10 mph in quick succession. 2) five moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in quick succession. 3) drive for 10 minutes to allow the brakes to cool off. Every different manufacturer has their own suggested procedure, this is one I was taught. If you don't perform a break in procedure you will be changing your brake pads again.
