This clever mask design allows you to breathe through your nose by way of a channel in the center of the lens that's almost un-noticeable when wearing. The tricky part is you need a VERY good face seal, or the breathing inside that small channel becomes quickly encumbered by water with no way to clear it. You simply cannot dive beneath the surface with these goggles because there's no way to reliably clear the water that fills the tube. To their credit the instructions point this out, but that just means this sort of mask is really only for beginners that can create a perfect seal and stay right at the surface level for viewing.

Got this mask because I have a beard and the other full face shields end up getting water in them because it doesn't seal in my beard. This mask is great but the only issue is that it feels like it's hard to breath not sure if I got a bad one but it did perform well besides that.

Compared to the full face snorkel masks, this is definitely more traditional and something I find a lot more comfortable to wear. I have now worn this in the sea and in my pool and not matter where I wear this, it's really comfortable. The problem that I found with the full face masks is they started block some of my views, not to mention, eventually the mouth area starts to allow water in. Once those areas become damaged, the mask is useless. With this mask, I don't have to worry about that issue because there is no mouth area, just my eyes and nose. I'm able to full breathe while being on the surface of the water. If I dive, there is a ball inside the snorkel part that blocks any water from coming in. Like mentioned previously, no matter if I'm using this in pool water or the salty water, this mask allows me to clearly see anything and everything. This is very easy to clean when needed too.

I had a full face mask already but wanted to try this one. I dove under water several times and it did a great job of keeping water out. I suppose if you could hold your breath long enough it's a nice feature that you could pinch your nose to pop your ears if you dove deep enough. You can breathe in and out through your nose but I liked it better breathing out my mouth and in through my nose. I think this would help to prevent fogging, but I didn't have any fogging issues breathing either way. There were other attachments that came along with it. It collapes nice and takes up little space unlike the full face masks. Comes with a sack to carry it all in. Great snorkel mask for the price!

I was really hoping this snorkel would work for trip to Oahu. There weren't many reviews at the time I purchased, but they were good ones, so I did, hoping for the best. I tried the standard snorkel before, and I had a hard time breathing through my mouth. This snorkel intrigued me, since you breathe through your nose. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a great fit around the snorkel and it leaked around my eyes, so water would come in and sting my eyes. I tried tightening it as much as I could, and ended up getting my forehead red and feeling bruised. The nose part fit fine, though, and I was able to breath with my face in the water. As long as I didn't submerge my head all the way, it somewhat did the job. I was able to get some snorkeling in by using a kickboard/floating device and just putting my face down into the water. I think if they had different sizes for different sized faces, it would maybe work better.

I like this snorkel mask. I have to admit, remembering to breathe through the nose and not the mouth when using it was a bit of an adjustment but once I got past this I found this mask very easy to use and worked well. I was concerned with going fully under and having to clear the snorkel of water, using a mouth one this is easy, but a nose one, wouldn't be so easy. I was happy to discover that I did not need to clear it, no water got into the snorkel! It fit great and worked great!
