It was so easy to put together. I felt like I got more than my money’s worth. It looks great. Blends in so well with our furniture that we have to point out it’s a home for our turtles. I love the side window which allows children to look in at the turtles without disturbing them. Highly recommend.

I just put this together today. It all seems pretty sturdy. I think the latches could get a small upgrade as they are kind of flimsy. It does smell strong of paint when you 1st open it but by the time i got it together that had dissipated. Also the film on the windows, use a razor (box) cutter and go around it as close as you can without cutting the wood. It will peel right off. Be gentle though so you don't scratch it up anywhere. (Seen quite a few peoples complaint was that film but i had no problems getting it off). I really like it and hope my tortoise will too! If things go South i will be back to update. If it all stays good, I will leave this review at a 5 star. ... show more

It's exactly what I needed, easy to clean, easy to assemble. The wood is pretty soft so you definitely want to do the assembly by hand or you'd risk splintering the wood. The wood itself is soft, but really rough and splintery, I fixed that myself. One of the sides had the pegs inserted at a 45 degree angle, I had to force it together, but it wasn't bad enough to justify shipping it back. I would expect a better finish and quality control for the price. It's light, it's not hard to move once assembled, but that also makes me question it's durability. I do wish it had an option for legs to raise it up a little bit, as I will be keeping this outside, I suspect getting it damp will cause it to rot quicker. Overall my climate isn't warm enough for my tortoise to be outside year round, this is a very temporary housing for him to enjoy the outdoors when we can. It works for it's intended purpose, I would suggest looking for something sturdier and that won't need to have splinters removed if you're looking for a permeant enclosure. ... show more

The legs are a little flimsy, but I decided to take them off anyway. The wood on one of the legs was split. This took me about an hour to assemble, it was pretty straightforward; I would recommend using a screw gun. It looks just like the photos, and is perfect for my small tortoise. Very happy with this enclosure so far! It’s a good size and I like the color, I’ve been using it for two weeks so far with no issues. The smell isn’t overpowering either, I liked the smell when I first built it and now I don’t notice it at all. My only problem is that I wish the hook could be adjusted so I could make it much lower, it’s far too tall for my lights to be effective even at its lowest adjustment. ... show more

It’s a great quality home for your turtles and it smells really great, but I did have the send it back, but I’m getting another one right away because it was missing holes to put the screws in and the wood did split/snap mid assembling it, but I guess that was just builder error 🤦🏻😭
