The karaoke came without any damages and all of the parts were there. Assembly was straightforward without any real complications. I think anybody with even a modicum of experience can put this together. So much for that part, the best part is how my cat enjoys this catio. My cat loves it! I am happy I ordered. Reviews seemed mixed, but I am a satisfied customer. Box is heavy. It was well packed, paper layers between sections to avoid damage. There were no broken pieces. Some reviews stated that sections were not labeled. Not accurate - All sections and packages of screws were labeled. We made two modifications before assembly. First - we used an outdoor porch and deck solid color stain and stained every piece. Yes it comes stained, however, it is a very light coating that I was concerned would not protect over time. (It took me 4hrs to stain all pieces.) Second - we used a staple gun and added staples to the mesh walls. It comes with spaced out tiny staples that I was not too confident would hold up. (It took me about an hour to add additional staples). When it came to assembly, there were two of us which made it easy to put together. However, I do believe one person could do. Some reviews claim the wood split and broke when assembling. I am going to guess that those who had issues were due to using an electric drill and over torquing. The wood is soft enough and guide holes are predrilled so using a Phillips head screw driver is all that is needed. In additional, we used wood glue in pieces that have peg holes to add strength. Once all together, it is a very sturdy product. The assembly with two people took less than one hour. I am concerned that the roof top will not hold up to inclement weather, so we will add another layer of roofing shingle or metal to give added waterproofing. Ultimately - this is a very good product. We chose to do some additional work to hopefully give added longevity since we will be using solely outside. It is all a matter of what time and a little added money you want to dedicate to your purchase. Also... you will have a few additional pieces leftover - they are supplied in case you are attaching two unit together. Instructions clearly indicate what pieces are additional for that use. I would recommend this product.

My cat is obsessed! She’s an indoor cat but has recently been trying to get in the backyard. While our yard is fenced in, I’m worried about the hawks. Not anymore though! It’s sturdy. It looks great. I will say, some of the wood split when I screwed in some screws but that could have just been me being over enthusiastic with the power drill. 10/10. Would recommend!

i bought 2 pieces and combined them together..it is a very sturdy cage.easy to assemble.you can get by with a phillips head screw driver,but if you have soft hands,you will want a drill with a phillips head attachment. my hands are calysed and still were a little sore.lol. it comes with pre drilled holes that helps out a lot. the only thing they could do to make it a little easier,,would be to label the pieces with a sticker or something,other than that i have no complaints..having wheels is a big plus for moving it around.. i bought this for my 7 foot boa constrictor knowing i would have to put plexiglass over most of the wired mesh to stop injury of my snake from pushing on it..but it is a steal for the size of the cage,, even after adding plexiglass..a cage for reptiles this large will cost up to 2 thousand if not more. as for cats it would be perfect for a enclosure when needed. all in all im very happy with the enclosure/cage. very sturdy,well priced.if your looking for a large reptile cage buy 2 and combine them together even if you need to make adjustments like plexiglass. it works very well. as for the little sliding doors,i just screwed 2 screws above the doors,no problems at all. you dont need them because of the large front doors gives easy access. when you combine them together,it will say to leave the 2 top sides out so your animal has access to both sides. if your using it for a reptile,the 2 bottom side pieces on the connecting side ,the instructions say to keep them part of the cage for sturdiness,and you should. but if you want your reptile etc. to have access from the bottom side side to,just remove the screen and just use the frame,i did and it works very well and sturdy. for all athers.im not a cat owner,but im positive this would be a good sturdy enclosure when needed. im very happy with the purchase.
