I found this card to be excellent , delivery was on time, packaged very well. You won't beat the price ... I have purchased the most expensive in the past and life cycle normal use was not good. I checked prices hoping to save money using nvidia but I would have to step back in video ram to 6 GB for a used card several years old. I made a good decision buying new with this new RX-580 and I am pleased. I plan on purchasing 1 or 2 more to keep my all amd 4 machines up and running. I live in a state with poor power grids and constant brown outs that might have shortened the life of my other RX-580s. I can't prove it but it certainly does not help any electronics.

Decent budget gpu, however, when performing benchmark tests it rates very low. Ok for gaming on low/mid settings in 1080p. Any higher than 1080, you will get some tearing, glitching, stuttering, etc. If you're on a really tight budget, this card will work for the interim. If you are patient and/or have a chance to get a better, more reliable card...do it. Just don't expect too much from this gpu. UPDATE**** For the past week (started 11/17/25), this GPU has started making strange noises. As if the fans are being obstructed by some small piece of plastic. Only 2 months into it being installed, it's starting to fail. It constantly is making this noise and my PC will randomly restart now. I work from home using my computer so this is not good. I challenge the seller/manufacturer to send me a replacement. Until then, my rating goes from 3 stars to 1 star.

This Graphic Card is one of the most entry level cards on the market. The best “bang for your buck” if I’d have to say. (Personally, I haven’t overclocked mine, but I hear it give more of a performative side of this graphics card.) I purchased this graphics card almost 5 months ago and it’s done me wonders. I will say, it holds up to the standards it should. The game I’ve played will be listed, but it’s an amazing price to performance ratio. Most of the games I had played with I have had to turn V sync off due to performance for some games not exactly turning out as expected. Other than that, most all of the other games in my library on steam ran like a breeze none the less. It’s a very small and quiet GPU. (These are some of the games I’ve played that I feel most of the users whom might purchase this graphics card may play) Minecraft Java - 120+ (With performance mods) Fortnite - 60 - 90 (everything set to minimum requirements, stutters on startup sometimes) Delta Force - 60 - 120 (medium or low settings work best along with Vsync off) Extra, Skyrim - 60 locked (Ultra settings were automatically applied) Most games that offer lots of options for performance, you’ll probably be fine with. I will lastly mention, pushing the graphics card too much will make it green screen and restart the device. This graphics card isn’t ment to run AMAZING graphics for most things, so I wouldn’t recommend. For example, Minecraft with shaders sometimes decides to green screen after about 30 - 45 mins of gameplay. My final review, it’s a very good GPU for entry level PC gamers. It fit well in my first build and as long as you don’t expect this thing to run like an RTX 5090, you’ll have a smooth experience none the less.

It works with Linux on my old pcie gen 4 gigabyte AMD 2nd gen ryzen 7. It plays videos well enough. It handles streaming and YouTube. But I generally just use it to test distros, bare metal installs, and Proxmox trouble shooting so, not much going on with the card. It only needs 8pin power. It's quiet for what I'm using it for but this would spin up at the first sign of demand. I owned 3 RX-480 cards, this cards predecessor, and they were excellent in the day. Then we moved on to a very high demand world. The RX-580 is a marginal relabeling of the 480 with minor clock adjustments so I'm assuming they fixed the ram problems. Overclocking the 480 was a bad idea. They apparently fixed the need with the 580. But remember this was launched in 2017. I have one RX-480 that still works completely. I just needed another card. I will use them until they go splat because I just don't put any real demand on them.

Hoy, 23 de agosto, el rendimiento ha sido excelente: todo corre por encima de los 60 FPS. Eso sí, al exigirle, la temperatura se mantiene entre 76 y 77 °C, pero aun así la experiencia ha sido muy sólida. It turned out that the day I ordered the Video Card our power went out 1 hour from when I place my order. I sat in my house with no internet for another 3 days. I got to work on that evening and finished the install , Now I get to wait for the internet to come back up. When I finally got to fire up. The card is very strong and comes in a new box. Very quit, a stable system so far. (I'm new to Zorin OS)
