I bought this little solar fountain because it was a best seller and I have no electricity running to my water feature. I often feel guilty buying things that I know will be in landfills at some point so it’s always a judgement call as to a products lifespan and it’s usefulness. I have goldfish in this pond and thought this might add a little oxygen and stimulation for their environment. So far it works as advertised. I’ll write back when it no longer works to give an idea of life expectancy. I like the options of "spouts" that I could choose from. It takes up a lot of space in the birdbath so I will need to invest in a larger bird bath but I like how it is working and the birds like it too.

Amazing little product. Only problem is our goldfish pond does not get enough sunlight to keep it running. When the sun hits it, it starts pumping again until a shadow crosses the pump!
