This container is fantastic for rice! I had it in a larger canister but had to scoop it into a measuring cup and always ended up with rice on the counter after. Love the pour spout on this container! Using this is great and you can use the lid to measure as well. Lid holds 3/4 Cup of rice and the container holds a solid 5 pounds of rice. I would not use this on anything you want to keep air tight, like cereal. There is a hole in the top that has several small holes, like a vent and a cover for it, not sure of the purpose for this. I also like that this container is tall and skinny, fits easily on a shelf and easy to pick up, fits in one hand nicely.

I would classify this as a heavy-duty container whose lid and cap tightly seals. The pouring spout neatly contains the flow of goodies from the container and the entire gizmo is easily cleaned. I use it to store rice and it holds an entire five-pound bag.

Usually, I read the directions that come with a new item, but I didn't this time. It is a decent size, clear and easily washed BY HAND. The lid was solid and tight. Unfortunately, I put the container through the dishwasher, and it slightly warped to where the lid is no longer tight or will stay on. All on me, of course. However, for the amount spent for this one container, you would have thought it would be safe to put in the dishwasher. My fault for not reading the directions.

This has been great for rice. I buy big bags so this has been so convenient. It holds a good amount and the lid seals well/attaches sturdy. Also the cup that covers the spout is 1 cup which makes it really easy to measure since I usually make a cup at a time.

This container is perfect for my baking soda. If you know you know…baking soda have a lot of clumps in them. And the pour spout makes sure it doesn’t get everywhere. This container does feel heavier holding my baking soda than my lock and lock. And this container is smaller but holds the same amount. It’s compact enough to fit in my cabinet and I’m able to save space.

We are using this PBA free storage container to hold our coffee beans. We have a coffee bean grinder that holds a supply of beans in it for quick and easy coffee grounds. This storage container makes it very easy to refill it by just pouring the coffee beans from the pour spout into the reservoir for the beans on the grinder. This airtight container keeps the beans fresh. The lid easily snaps on and off for refilling. This container can be used for so many food items like oatmeal, beans, rice, nuts, etc. I am very happy with this container and highly recommend it.

I needed this for my rice. I always (previously) stored it in the bag, and it winds up picking up moisture from the air and eventually going bad. This seals very well and has a cup on top that seals the pouring spout and can be used for measuring.
