It was time to get new pillows for the bed and this one caught my attention because a) I resolved to get a foam pillow after several friends over the years had positive things to say about them; b) the reviews were mostly positive from fellow side-sleepers. The pillow is shipped tightly rolled up in the box so it has to have an hour or so to regain its proper shape. I used that time to wash the pillow cover that comes with it. Unlike some others, I didn’t detect an a plastic or rubber odor from the pillow out of the box. The pillow cover is just that, a cover, not a pillow case as it’s described in the copy. The cover is designed to stay in place and that it does. There was a slight learning curve for me for something as basic as removing it and then putting it back on after it was washed and dried (which may say something about me lol). The pillow cover has an opening on the top side (not on an end) that corresponds with the pillow core or head cradle (the center of the pillow where most people will lay their head). It’s not difficult or a chore but you have to pay attention to what you’re doing or you’re gonna have to redo it. With the pillow cover on I put the pillow in a standard queen pillow case and looked forward to giving a go that night. Like with every other new pillow I have laid my head on, I have to experiment with positioning until I find the “just right” Goldilocks place for my head and neck. It didn’t take long until I was satisfied with the position. I use CPAP. Several years ago I finally found a mask and headgear that is comfortable for me but a standard pillow isn’t forgiving with it on. It’s the first thing I noticed when I laid my head on this pillow: the mask and pillow became one. If there’s such a thing as comfort while using CPAP this is it. I haven’t experienced any special cooling effect with this pillow. I attribute it to using the pillow cover and pillow case leaving little chance of air circulation and moisture wicking. OTH, I haven’t noticed increased warmth or discomfort so maybe it’s doing what is claimed and my theory is disproven. Bottom line: as side-sleeping, CPAP-using guy I’m sold on this pillow.

Honestly I'm one of those people that's spending $100 on a pillow seems absolutely ridiculous so I didn't have high hopes for this pillow BUT I was wrong. It's pretty fantastic! It arrived in a very small box as is Pretty common for memory foam items, this one puffed up immediately out of the package however. I did wait a full 24 hours before using, but there was no smell and no need to air it out. My initial thought was this is entirely too thin and not nearly firm enough, but after using for a week my shoulder pain from sleeping on my side is completely gone. Also my neck no longer feels like I was in a truck wreck in my dreams. I'm not a big fan of the tie-dye weird color scheme lol, but after you put a pillowcase on it it really doesn't matter anyway. It's a good size unlike other pillows and it doesn't have a weird wedge shape like other pillows that I've tried. I've slept on my stomach my back and my side with this pillow and I'm Amazed at how well it supports my neck even though it is so thin. Overall I think it's a darn good value and I surprised myself by saying that! Here’s my rating scale for products: 1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. I would never under any circumstances use again. 2 Stars: Do not buy. Its usable at best, but you could easily find something better. 3 Stars: Just ok. Buy if you can't find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed. 4 Stars: Recommend purchase. This item met my expectations. 5 Stars: I love this product and would highly recommend to friends & family. I’ve been using this pillow for a few nights now, and it has already earned a permanent spot on my bed. I’ve tried just about every cervical pillow on the market over the years after a whiplash injury decades ago, and many ended up in storage. This one will not. The design is simple but effective: the dip in the center cradles my head when I’m on my back, and it gives proper support when I turn to my left or right. I wake up without stiffness or neck pain, which is something I can’t say for most pillows I’ve tried. The memory foam feels high quality, dense enough to hold its shape but soft enough to sink into gently. Even after several nights of use, it bounces back well and doesn’t flatten out. Cooling is another huge plus. Living in South Florida, nights can be uncomfortably warm, but this pillow really does stay cooler than others I own. The smooth, breathable cover is removable for washing, and as an unexpected benefit, it helps keep my long hair from tangling overnight. It also fits into a standard pillowcase if you prefer. I have a small frame at 5'4", and this pillow works well for me, giving just enough height to keep my head aligned without pushing it forward or causing strain. Someone with very broad shoulders may find it a bit too low, since the pillow doesn’t have raised sides, it’s more of a flat supportive design rather than a heavily contoured one. Overall, this is the softest pillow I own, yet it still manages to keep my neck aligned and supported. Compared to other pillows I’ve tried, it strikes the best balance of comfort, support, and cooling. I’d recommend it to anyone, whether you struggle with neck pain or not, because it simply makes sleep more comfortable. For me, it’s been a true game-changer.
