This is a perfect AC system has been a life saver for us. The windows on the front of our house are letting to much heat in and we didn’t want a window unit on the front of our house, so we decided to give this portable AC unit a try. We couldn’t ask for anything better, it cools the room so fast and doesn’t take up much space at all. It’s a good smooth running AC and doesn’t make a lot of noise. The seller and Amazon got it here quick and it was easy to set up. Now this is a AC unit so yes it’s going to make water. To solve this I spent an extra $30 and designed a pump and switch that I just turn on periodically to drain out the water which work beautifully and I will show in the video. Definitely a great choice if you are looking for a good portable AC unit for a decent price.

Purchased this awesome air conditioner! I’m really happy with my AirOrig Portable Air Conditioner! At 10,000 BTU, it cools my space quickly and efficiently. The 3-in-1 feature (cooling, dehumidifying, and fan) makes it super versatile, and it’s surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is. Setup was quick, and the remote control is a great touch, I do not even have to move out of bed to adjust it. I also love the timer option as well. It’s compact enough to move between rooms but strong enough to handle Florida heat. Overall, a great value for the price. Highly recommend for anyone needing portable relief!

This is my first portable AC unit, so I had high hopes since I am using it in the top level of my house which gets VERY hot in the summers. Realistically I know these kinds of AC units are not the most efficient since the entire machine (which radiates back some of the heat back into the room) is in the room, whereas central air ACs have the condenser outside. Still, I know a good unit can drastically cool a room if you get a good one. I am not sure if I just got a bad unit, or if this brand just makes bad ACs, but this thing barely works, if at all. Technically, the condenser does kick on and blows mildly cool air, but it will only stay on for maybe 5 minutes if I'm lucky, then just run the fan for 10, 20, 30 minutes.... so basically I just bought a very expensive fan. After running the AC unit for over an hour, the temp in the room dropped maybe 2 degrees, which is horribly energy inefficient and obviously barely makes the room feel any more comfortable. I mainly bought this unit because it had over 4 stars and was on sale, so it was cheaper than both other units on Amazon, as well as much cheaper than anything I could get in stores with the same cooling rating. I guess you get what you pay for and other units are more expensive for a reason... This thing barely works and when factoring in the electricity it takes to barely cool the room, you're spending just as much if not more than if you just bought a more expensive unit in the first place. I needed to do some work on my top floor, so I am only putting this unit through its paces a couple months after I bought it, so it is now out of the return window. Otherwise, I would just send this back. Don't waste your money on this. Next summer I'll have to look into replacing this unit--I'll probably bite the bullet and just get one from a big box store like Lowes or Home Depot, at least that way I can easily return the unit if it ends up having any issues.

Only in use for 2 days now Seems to be working great and has the room down to 18C/63f and it keeps it there. 2 reasons for only 4 stars. 1. There needs to be more fan speed settings. The low and the high are pretty close in sound levels. High is great, there beeds to be a couple more lower setting for night use. 2. I read a few reviews about it being to loud, for day use, the fan and sytem run smooth and you do not notice the noise. At night, yes, you can clearly hear it running and if you can not sleep to what I would describe as a loud white noise then this will keep you awake. Its just loud enough that if you watch tv from bed you will need turn the tv up a couple numbers. On a side note, change the window panel to one that can fit up to a 60"/152.4cm windows and a mesh screen on the vents tube outlet. Ill be back if it runs into durability issues

I've had the Air Orig 10,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner for 2 weeks now and it runs like a charm. I had initial doubts that it would be big enough to provide cooling for my living room, but I actually have to admit that it does the job. I was looking to run an A/C on my Lion Energy Safari Solar Generator, but it had to be 10,000 BTU or under. I went on Amazon to find an A/C that would fit the wattage requirements and came upon this product and at a decent price as well. This air conditioner runs perfectly on my generator and I'm very pleased with it so far. I live in Phoenix, AZ and we get extremely hot Summers here and air conditioners are essential to living in this state. I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a portable air conditioner to purchase this product. It's easy to set up and user friendly. Air Orig makes a great product!
