The media could not be loaded. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I had no hope for this machine when I bought it. That is because I was convinced that none of these portable ACs really work very well. My last one was $500 by Black & Decker. This blows it out of the water. It is truly effective and has great power behind it. What I didn’t realize when I purchased it, which is my fault for not reading thoroughly is that there is no internal collection container for water. It comes with a hose. The first night I fell asleep with it on because I couldn’t believe what a great job it was doing And it overflowed and caused a mess. But again, user error. It was relatively easy to set up, but I couldn’t really figure out the screw and window mechanism and how to do that. I’m not very handy. I just used gorilla tape and it’s fine. I cannot say enough good things about this machine. It really cools the whole room very well and it’s not something you have to sit directly in front of to get the benefits. That was with the black and Decker. You had to sit right in front of it to feel cool And whenever I would put it on the dog would take it anyway. Noise level is great. It’s normal. So very happy with this machine I wish everybody the best and I recommend.

This portable air conditioner unit works really well. It was very easy to set up and it cooled the room down quickly. It shuts itself off once it reaches the temperature you set, which is nice. You do need to have a large bowl for the condensation to drain out and we had empty it every few days in the heat of the summer. But that's a small price to pay for how well it works. It's very quiet and you can change the direction of the airflow if you want. My daughter's cat just loves it and laid down on the bed in the direct path of the airflow. Kitty-cat approved.

I bought this for my home office as a temporary relief during the Texas summer when my central AC went out. I used it for three days and it never delivered more than a 2°F drop in my ~200 sq ft room. The only time I felt anything was sitting a few feet in front of it. On the last day, my office was 87°F while the outdoor temp was 85°F and the rest of the upstairs was 83°F—so in effect it made the room hotter, likely from exhaust/heat gain. It was also noisy, making the room uncomfortable without meaningful cooling. The sticker on the unit lists CEER = 6.6. For context, most portable ACs cluster around ~7–10, and better dual-hose/inverter models can reach ~10–12. 6.6 is below average even for a portable, and my results matched that poor efficiency. The documentation explicitly states it is not for home/residential use, yet the listing clearly markets and depicts it for home use. That contradiction is unacceptable. The unit uses an A2L refrigerant—classified as mildly flammable (low burning velocity) but still flammable and odorless. That means a leak may not be detectable by smell, and the manual’s “well-ventilated” guidance raises obvious concerns for typical bedrooms/offices (and better ventilation would likely reduce cooling effectiveness). I didn’t react immediately to the flammability warning, but the longer it sat in my house, the more alarming it became. In hindsight, I should have returned it immediately—and I did, after three days, relieved to have it out of my home. I'm a little concerned that Amazon is allowing this to be sold on it's platform. My experience: * Cooling: Max ~2°F drop in ~200 sq ft; at one point hotter than outside. * Airflow/Noise: Noticeably noisy; cooling only perceptible within a few feet. * Efficiency: CEER 6.6 on the sticker—poor by portable standards. * Safety: A2L (mildly flammable), odorless refrigerant + manual says not for home use, despite residential marketing. Bottom line: For a Texas summer emergency in a home office, this was ineffective, inefficient, and raised serious safety/disclosure concerns. Anyone who values their home and family should avoid this.

This is a perfect AC system has been a life saver for us. The windows on the front of our house are letting to much heat in and we didn’t want a window unit on the front of our house, so we decided to give this portable AC unit a try. We couldn’t ask for anything better, it cools the room so fast and doesn’t take up much space at all. It’s a good smooth running AC and doesn’t make a lot of noise. The seller and Amazon got it here quick and it was easy to set up. Now this is a AC unit so yes it’s going to make water. To solve this I spent an extra $30 and designed a pump and switch that I just turn on periodically to drain out the water which work beautifully and I will show in the video. Definitely a great choice if you are looking for a good portable AC unit for a decent price.

Works great for a bedroom or small living room size space. The noise was easy to sleep with but loud. Very easy to use and loved the multiple uses available. The window insert was too wide for our window, so had to remove the extender function and place duct tape to help seal for the vent in the window.
