Airmax Shallow Water Aeration Systems are designed to provide maximum aeration & circulation in shallow bodies of water. They are ideal for ponds typically requiring multiple aeration plates due to depth restrictions. By aerating your pond from the bottom up, you'll circulate incredible amounts of water. Increasing the dissolved oxygen levels in your water column allows for increased levels of beneficial bacteria to accumulate in your pond resulting in reduced pond odors & muck accumulation. Shallow Water Aeration Systems are designed with powerful, energy efficient SilentAir LR Series compressors & equipped with a quick disconnect for easy airline removal and maintenance. The deeper a diffuser plate is placed in your pond, the more area it can aerate effectively. Shallow ponds, or ponds with irregular shapes and bends, require more diffuser plates per surface acre.
