I have needed an aerator for some time. This one is the best for the money. The video will show each step of the install. The most difficult part is the digging. The assembly of the unit is easy. I am very happy with the result, and would recommend this for anyone needing an aerator.

Easily conducts its purpose with ease. Hundred foot hoses are adequate for my 1.5 acre pond. My regret is just how much power the aerator uses. I use an EcoFlow Delta to run aerator and it runs out of power in 1-2 hours of a full charge. So it’s difficult to run for long period of time off grid.

Outstanding aeration pump…..they run 24/7/365 with minimal maintenance. You just have to Clean the air filter once or a month through the summer….this is the third unit I’ve had in 8 years. My first one lasted five years and my second lasted 3 years, and was actually still going strong but it got knocked over and had a funny turn… ... show more

    • 230V system not easily installed in USA; also not as quiet as you'd think
Size: PS20, 230V, 200' 3/8" EasySet Airline, 2 ...
Beware not reading the fine print. Despite being manufactured in Michigan, this particular model is a 230 volt system, meaning it can only plug into a 220/230 volt outlet. Those are some serious volts and not the outlets typically used around the American home (or even in the garage). Not a big pump so I'm perplexed why the odd voltage requirement, but there you go. $2300 potentially wasted as I have no idea if I can even run wiring of that gauge from my garage down to my lakeside to plug this thing in. Would have returned but I ordered in the fall and didn't try to install til spring (my own fault). Anyway, hope others learn from my mistake. --Update, the company will allow a return of the product despite being 6 months out. Not bad! Still on the hook for shipping (which ain't cheap, machine + hosing is heavy), but better than expected. Upgrading to 4 stars, with 1 taken off for the less then obvious need to really look at the voltage. You can get a single diffuser system, or a triple diffuser system, as a 110 volt option, but a double only comes as 230? Weird. Also, now that up and running, would add that the system isn't as quiet as I'd expected. Pumping air makes noise, I get that, but I almost need a special wooden housing for the pump to decrease the noise transmitted around the lake and up to my seating area. No perfect system I guess. --Update #2, only lasted 2 years (not running in cold weather months either); compressor died. For this kind of money I expected better. 2 stars. ... show more

    • Great Pond Diffuser
We bought a house that had a pond on the property and it was over grown and had no aerator. My brother has a pond and he said that we really needed a aerator to help with the health of our pond. So I did look around and did some research and found this System with ProAir 4 Diffuser and 100' of 0.38" Airline 0.25 HP. The shipping on this was fast and had no problems with shipping. Box was big and heavy so you may need some help with it. Everything came with this unit the hose and clamps. We put the unit next to our house and dug a trench and ran the line underground to the pond about 100 ft away. But we did use pcv pipe. Then we attached the hose from the unit the 0.38" that goes to the pond. Everything works great, the instruction was right one and had no problems. We did use a canoe to bring it out the middle of the pond to place it. It does in the very cold days of winter the line froze up and it made a weird noise so I unplugged it and it warmed up enough to start up the right way. So we just blew the line out with an air compressor and it solved that. We are very happy with this unit and would recommend this for anyone that has a large pond. ... show more

The areator is awesome Extremely easy to assemble I have a 1.5 Acre frying pan shaped pond that turns over multiple times a year so its almost always brown When it does clear up a bit it is immediately followed by algae plumes I bought the 2 hose/diffuser model because the pond is over 1 acre After 1 month the pond is still brown but a lighter shade and no signs of algae yet If I had it to do over again I would've gotten out on the pond and drug a 50 foot rope behind the boat to see where that landed in the pond Instead, I had it assembled and couldn't get as far as I would've liked so I wish I had ordered the longer hose with it Its hard to tell if it landed upright because both have a different bubble pattern but there is a 4 foot difference in depth I don't write reviews often but felt inclined Great product so far ... show more
