  • Good paddle, great price
Sturdy, easy to store, floats (i would hope so, but i found this out the hard way yesterday...). I like this paddle. I just started kayaking, and if i continuee, it will be a great back-up, when i buy a nicer paddle. breaks into 3 sections, so is easy to stow in your car or boat. infintley adstable twist. nice grip handles at the tube connections, but they force you to keep your hands at those locations. might be a problem if you like to use alternate gri[p locations. it never bothered me. ... show more

  • Three Stars
product feels cheap and paddles are very small and flimsy

  • Telescoping paddle
Bought this as an emergency paddle for a small sailboat. Haven't had to use it yet--no emergencies--but its small size, light weight & adjustability make it perfect for the purpose. It can be 3 different lengths--stores easily, too. Probably a little flimsy for regular use--but that's not what it's for. ... show more

  • Good product for the money
Easy to put together and take apart. Relatively durable for parts of it being plastic. Took them out on a lake with my kayaks and they did really well. Not sure how long they would hold up in rougher waters but for occasional recreational use these are great and well worth the money.

  • Kwick Tek Kayak Paddle 3 Section Aluminum
The plastic pieces that connect the three aluminum shaft pieces are very easily broken. My first outing at the beach I broke one of them. I replaced it with some PVC piping and duct tape but I could no longer take it apart. During my second outing to the beach nothing broke but there was noticeable deformation to the paddle. On my third outing the other connector piece broke and the paddle ended up in my trash can. It is easy to use and handy in an emergency but I would not recommend it for any other use since it is so likely to break or deform. ... show more

  • Great Kayak paddles
I was expecting a small lightweight cheap paddle, and what I got was a really great paddle that I love. Certainly much higher quality than I expected ,and we love them! Definintely worth what we paid, and definitely what we needed. I am very happy with my purchase.

  • Cheap but hurts my hands, drippy and rows very slow
This paddle is very poorly designed that I have to double my efforts to keep fellow kayakers who use good paddles. And it quickly made blisters in my hands due to the connectors being the the wrong place for my handling. The groves on the paddle drips water all over me. It doesn't worth a dollar since you can really get and use out of it, while you hart yourself using it. ... show more

  • uncomfortable
I should have given this a lower rating, maybe 1 or 2 stars. The grips are plastic with ridges, which is very uncomfortable while you are paddling. If I could move the hand grips and just place my hands on the pole it would be better, but my hands fall exactly where these uncomfortable grips exist. It separates and reconstructs easily, and is very lightweight, so that part is ok. I replaced this paddle with the SeaSense - Sea Sense X-Treme Deluxe Kayak Paddle. The SeaSense is much more comfortable - has a cushy layer where your hands go, and is much more adaptable in terms of hand location on the paddle. ... show more
