I thought this straightener was a decent size and it heats up quick. For straightening it’s pretty good but curling was a little more difficult because the floating plates have a little too much bend in them and causes the plastic on either side of the plate to snag my hair. The plates themselves are a little on the small side compared to the device as a whole and I wish they were a little longer. I also like that the dial at the bottom spins and has a lot of different temperatures to choose from to be exactly at the right heat you need. Overall it’s good for straightening but not so much for curling.

I was so excited to find the viral tik tok curler for a bit cheaper too! But when i this product the manufacture box was damaged…kinda disappointing after waiting a week for it to come in! Curler did not heat or turn on after being plugged in and reading instructions. Amazon support was no help!!

The media could not be loaded. My sister has a tendency to burn herself with her hair straightener. How you ask? I don't know! But she does. So when I saw this straightener I had to try it! I took a video so you can hear the sound it makes. It is almost like a hair dryer just a lot quieter. It is easy to use and does not get hot on the outside so no mor burns! Highly recommend!

I bought this as a straightener, not a curling iron, but I experimented with trying to use it to curl and had no luck with it, so maybe I just didn't know what I was doing, but I'm only going to review it on its use as a hair straightener. For the price (about half what my day to day straightener cost) it's provocative. But I don't think it works quite as well as my normal straightener. I don't really see any benefit to the air cooling. My hair was still hot when it left the iron, which I thought was to be expected. Maybe that's because I have coarse hair and put it on the highest temperature setting, I don't know. (This unit offers 5 different temperatures, from 280 degrees to 430.) I don't feel like this is a very good straightener for people with very curly hair, as it never seemed to want to completely flatten out my curls. And since I couldn't get it to actually CURL my hair, it ended up being one of those purchases I can't actually see myself ever using. Plus it's fairly heavy, or at least heavier than my usual iron, and using it tired my arm out. A person with wavy, medium thickness hair would probably benefit the most from this product, but I would say if you have tight curls or very fine hair you want to curl, this might not be the best option for you.

Heats up fast. Straightens hair well, I’m no good at curling my hair so haven’t even tried. Does seem a little cheaply made but not bad for price. I also like the color.
