I ordered this mattress topper because my mattress is embarrassingly old and because I have back problems. those two things in combination don't make for a good night's sleep. I received the mattress topper and I was initially concerned because the box was so light weight - I assumed it was going to be thin and flimsy and no help at all to me. I WAS WRONG!! I opened the topper and laid it out and let it sit for about 24 hours, but I don't even think it needed that to expand to the 2" height it's supposed to be. There were no creases or marks from shipping - it lays completely flat straight out of the box. I put it on the bed, and with a shred of hope, laid down to go to sleep. This mattress topper is SUCH a game changer for me. It's almost like I have a new mattress. It is SO comfortable and cool - I was worried it would make me hot, but it totally doesn't!! It lays on the bed easily, doesn't slip off, and fits the queen size perfectly. When I roll or change positions, it assumes its shape quickly and doesn't leave lasting indentions. It gives so much support and new life to my old mattress. This is a great product and a great value at this price point. This is a nice topper. Not too big or tall so it doesn't add a ton of extra height. I like that it has air holes too - some don't. It took a few hours to inflate completely but I was able to sleep on it the same day I took it out of the box. No smell which was really great. I like this one because it adds a bit of extra cozy comfort on top but I can still feel my mattress supporting me underneath. I can move about without any jiggling of the bed but I found that I haven't been moving quite as much which is great. It really does conform to my body and cradle me. Feels so nice. ... show more

We've been using this mattress topper for over a month and i can definitely say that we get a better night's sleep with it. Even though it's only 2 inches, it give us enough extra padding on top of our regular spring mattress so that it feels like a completely new mattress. My only complaint is that it does retain a it of heat and can get hot. I typically run hot, but even my partner (who does not run hot) thinks it gets a bit warm. It's fine for now since the weather is cooling down, but you ca definitely feel the difference. ... show more

This mattress topper is great! The topper material is made from some type of foam material. It has a medium compression. It's not thin and squashes flat, or too dense that it doesn't squish at all. The topper says 2 inches, but I feel like it may be thicker than that. I haven't noticed any rips or tearing since I've started using it. We recently ordered a new, custom-made, very high-end mattress for our guest bedroom. Despite ordering a mattress that we hoped would meet all of our needs, it was quite dense, quite stiff and quite uncomfortable. Our first weekend guests let us know that they were a bit uncomfortable, so we tried out the mattress the following week... YIKES! My cranky back kept me awake all night on the new mattress. We thought we would try a mattress topper. After looking at the options available, memory foam of some sort looked to be a good option for us. Considering that the mattress itself has good support - but is just a bit too stiff - a bit of added squish at the top sounded perfect. This mattress topper arrived quickly. It was rolled up tightly. But, once unwrapped and unfolded, it fluffed up and aired out fully pretty quickly. We left the topper alone until the next day, in accordance with the instructions, and made up the bed. That night, we tried out the bed again, and it was absolutely like sleeping on a completely different bed. It was beyond comfortable all night. I slept like a baby. I received a new mattress and it's great but it's much too firm for my liking. This mattress topper has transformed my bed into a soft cloud. I love it and now I have been getting great rest with the added comfort. The topper does stay cool, however it absorbs body heat fairly easy too. Whether you consider that good or bad it hasn't been of much issue to me. The topper truly is soft, so I sink down into it shortly after laying down but it just makes it better for me to get snug. Firstly, I will say that this is a good mattress topper. It made my bed much more enjoyable. I was worried that it was a bit thinner than I thought would make a difference, but it really did! The only issue that I have with this topper is that it slides all over the bed and I have to constantly move it back to the right position, which is a bit annoying because I have to take the sheets off to do it. I think a cover for the topper that hooked underneath the mattress would help this. It may be because I toss and turn a lot when I sleep, but the previous topper I had always stayed in the same place. ... show more
