    • Useful For Multiple Types of Art
This Airbrush Kit with Compressor has been handy to have. For costumes, I can airbrush on makeup. For art projects, I can airbrush painted designs. For paint touch-ups, it's also been helpful. It's worth the time to get used to using to develop just the right touch, but that doesn't really take too long to do by practicing on newsprint first.     • Needs revamped
Leaks air as soon as it turns on and don't try doing any adjustments as it falls apart. Gave up on getting it back together tonight and gonna try again in the morning but still not impressed with something that had it worked right i would have been impressed with it as everything is nice from the materials used to the ease it would have created not having to rely on air tanks, compressors, and hoses. ... show more

This airbrush machine charges with a USB cord and comes with everything you need to operate it and clean it. It comes with a one sheet instructions page which was easy to understand. Cleaning it was easy - just run water through the tank and spray until it comes out clear and then use a q tip for the connection point. I did have a hard time getting foundation to come out but that was due to my inexperience and once I had thinned it out enough it worked well. I do wish it had come with a case to keep all of the parts together so I am deducting one star for that but otherwise it works well and is very portable and easy to hold with one hand. ... show more

Applying makeup with an airbrush is a fine art, and not something I'd like to do every day. Still, for special occasions, I like to use it at least for my foundation, as it can provide a smooth even coat I can't get with my day to day makeup. I didn't have a lot of experience with airbrushes before getting this, but I actually found this kit pretty straightforward to use. Once you turn it on, the air comes out of the nozzle continuously, and you press the trigger to add paint/pigment into the airstream. You do have to make sure to adjust the flow limiter (the rear screw adjustment) to make sure the spray doesn't come out too quickly. If it's all the way open, you can go through an entire cup full in a few seconds, whereas you really want to adjust it so that you can slowly and evenly spray just a few drops of pigment. However, once that was adjusted, I was able to slowly build up a smooth and even foundation. Probably the hardest part for me was matching my skin tone; unlike powder makeup, airbrush makeup usually comes as a set of pigments that you mix to match your complexion. The before-and-after pictures I took are back when I hadn't quite figured it out, so I'm afraid it's a little orangish. Anyway, this kit is pretty easy to use and works really well for water-based pigments. To clean it afterwards, I've been running either rubbing alcohol or distilled water through it (our water here is extremely hard, and I don't want it to get clogged up with lime) and I haven't had any problems with it losing power or getting clogged. It's easy to disassemble. The one issue I have, since I only use it on special occasions, is that the battery drains quickly while not in use, so you have to remember to charge it up if it's been sitting for a couple of weeks. So, overall it's a really handy airbrush. It may not be professional grade, but I've found it quite usable, and it's quite capable of depositing a smooth, even foundation. ... show more

This is a good set to get if you're looking to get into anything that uses an airbrush. The fact that you don't need a separate compressor is a good thing. Using it is pretty self-explanatory, and the fact that just about everything you need to get started is included makes this a good starter kit. I wish that there were more details and instructions in the guide, and they felt more fluent and less "The Engrish way to Airbrush". In general, though I'm happy with this kit. ... show more
