While I am a beginner, I still wouldn't say this is the only airbrush I need. I got it hoping it would be quick to set up and use for small jobs. I already have a large compressor because I am loving this craft already! So much fun! Well this little unit fit the bill I created for it perfectly ... in fact I am shocked at the quality of the components and just how well it performs! Absolutely great value for the money, and then some! I am having a lot of fun with this thing and the best part is you can just take it anywhere you want! Sure I can do that with my big compressor, but not nearly as easily! This little setup will keep me from being too lazy to do the little jobs since I don't have to drag that gear out - I can just grab this little guy and go! And such a pleasure to use! Highly recommend!

I wanted to get started airbrushing my Warhammer miniatures and didn't want to spend too much on an airbrush and compressor. This kit came with everything I needed to learn and get started. It is easy to take apart and clean, and comes with all the accessories you will need to clean it and use different types of paint. I have run a bunch of Vallejo primer through it and haven't had any clogging issues or anything. The compressor will run for ~20 minutes on battery, less if using heavy. I make sure to fully charge it before using it and it works fine. Comes with a hose, which is easier to use than attaching the airbrush directly to the compressor. You will probably want to move up to a bigger more powerful compressor eventually, but this will work great to get you started.

This airbrush was mildly decent (and by decent I mean just okay, not particularly good) for about the first month. After that it clogged easily and the seals started to fray and break. Plus, the pressure and consistency are difficult to control because it’s cheaply made. I also cleaned it after each use and I ONLY used Vallejo black mecha primer combined with Army Painter airbrush thinner/ medium. I never used any super thick acrylics and still had issues with it clogging part of the way through airbrushing my models. I’d have to stop and clean it throughly to get it working right again. Any time I did deep clean it, it was a MAJOR pain to put back together because of the size of some of the parts (see pics for reference - I know the pic quality isn’t the best but my camera had a hard time focusing because I had to get so close to the objects for you to even seem them because they’re so small). I’ve wasted HOURS on this crappy airbrush between troubleshooting why it’s not working to cleaning and reassembling it. It has not been worth the price. I should’ve known better than to buy some generic Chinese brand in the first place. I do not recommend buying this product. Your money is better spent elsewhere .

It arrived well packaged and was super easy to set up even for a beginner. The compressor is compact and surprisingly quiet, but still powerful enough to deliver smooth, consistent airflow with no pulsing. The airbrush itself sprays evenly and gives great control, whether I’m doing fine details or broader coverage. I’ve used it for makeup, nails, and small craft projects, and it performs flawlessly every time. Cleanup is quick, and the included accessories make it versatile right out of the box.

The idea of spending 200+ dollars for your first airbrush can feel intimidating, and the space required by the compressor can be a big ask for some. Enter, this. The product isn't perfect, but it's a good compromise between function, value and quality. Cons: - The cup has a bit of a "lip" at the bottom, possibly preventing a small amount of the paint from reaching the chamber easily. Not much of an issue really, but worth noting. - The compressor heats up quite a lot, so it's worth making sure it's not, say, in your pocket - The battery life is such that you should make sure to charge it before using it. It shouldn't need saying, of course, but it sucks to start working only for it to stop working shortly after. It is also possible to use and charge it at the same time, but if you want an even result you can not do this if the battery is completely out of charge - You can't adjust the PSI. Possibly the biggest drawback. The PSI is steady at 32, no more no less. For this reason, it's not a great tool for very fine detail work. So, what is it a great tool for, then? Pros: - Priming, zenithal priming, glazing and really all sorts of paint work that doesn't demand you take the airbrush extremely close to the model. - Portable!! Taking an airbrush with you is hardly an issue, but a typical compressor might be a different story. This, however, is as portable as you could ever hope for an airbrush to be. Take it with you wherever, whenever. Just remember to bring your charger just in case! - Affordable. You can't argue with that price, considering what you get for it. - Great for beginners! Let's be honest; if you're new to airbrushing, you'd rather start with something cheap that doesn't hurt so much to break, if you do. That said, it's not particularly fragile. The only thing worth treating with care is the needle, same as all other airbrushes. Also, it's a normal double-action airbrush for all intents and purposes, so if you want to upgrade, you can just buy a normal compressor and attach it to that for home use later.
