  • Love the display and it works well
I bought this a day before workers did some drywall work in the house. As soon as they laid out their protective rug, the display air quality indicator went from 5 to over 100! It was just dust in their rug and their work hasn’t even started yet. This tells me how accurate it is. I had it on full power while work was being done, can’t even imagine the dust and bad air quality without this purifier. Even when I cook the indicator shows a change. My other air purifiers don’t have this indicator, I think I will get one for the other rooms as well. It’s my favorite one so far! Also I love that I can control it from my phone. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Seems to work well
I own several air purifiers. I ordered this one for use in my bedroom where my dogs also sleep. I was hoping that this would cut down on fur in the air and dust. I don’t know if it does a whole lot in that regard, but I can say that it is easy to use and control. It is very low-noise and does not keep me awake at night. Additionally, the sensor mechanism seems to work well so if it senses contaminants in the air, it increases air flow to get levels to a healthier level. I do not use the app because, quite honestly, I find it much easier to just hit a button on the device than to mess with an app. The purifier has a small footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of space in the room, and it’s very easy to keep clean. I don’t truly know if air purifiers are necessary or useful, but if you’re going to order one, this is a good option. ... show more

  • phenomenal air purifier - worth the money !!
I've been using this air purifier in my living room and dining area, and it's been fantastic. I set up this air purifier in my new apartment, which had been empty for a few months, and it did a great job of refreshing the air. The unit is surprisingly quiet, so much so that you can barely hear it running, which is a big plus compared to other noisy models I've tried. It effortlessly blends into my space, and I love how lightweight it is, making it easy to move around if needed. One of my biggest concerns was how it would affect my very energetic cat, but I'm happy to report that it's completely safe. The purifier's automatic mode adjusts the fan speed based on the air quality, which gives me peace of mind knowing that it's always working to keep the air clean without any manual effort. The large filter is easy to access and replace, and it's been doing an excellent job of capturing dust and pet dander, which is crucial for maintaining a clean environment. Overall, this air purifier is a great investment, especially for those with pets. It's effective, quiet, and safe—everything I could ask for in a product like this. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve the air quality in their home. ... show more

  • Auto features are nice to have, runs no louder than my computer's cooling fan
This is the first room air purifier I have ever used. I took lots of pictures so those who really know what to look for will have what they need. My firs experience has been a good one. The purifier has a large, multilayer filter that is easy to access and replace with a magnetic closure door in the back of the unit. The fan sound when it is running is actually quieter than the sound of the air coming through my furnace vents. It is no louder than most small circulation fans. I can connect to the purifier through my home network and control the scheduler, sleep timer, mode settings, and see the air clarity (PM2.5) reading of the room with an app on my phone. The purifier has a feature to detect the air quality and adjust the fan speed and airflow accordingly. I can also turn it on and off on the device itself without the app. This is a nice looking, quiet, and informative air purifier. ... show more

  • Good Air Purifier with Amplified Coverage Area
This InvisiClean air purifier looks and feels fine. Its functions are well-described in its webpage, so I am not going to discuss them in this review. Its 1500-square-foot claim is totally unrealistic. The way air purifiers work is quite simple. HEPA air purifiers work by sucking the air from the room through their internal filters, thus blocking unwanted particles, and then blowing the purified air back into the room. Size matters in the world of air purifiers. Therefore, when it comes to HEPA filters, the bigger the fans and filters, the better their performance. This air purifier is too small to efficiently cover 1500 ft2. A U.S. government website provides the formula on how to calculate the coverage of an air purifier based on its CADR. It shows that CADR should be at least two-thirds of the room’s area in square feet for 8-foot-tall rooms: • CADR = (Room Size x 2) / 3 Room Size = (CADR x 3) /2 According to this website, the room coverage for this purifier is: (200 x 3) /2 = 300. Therefore, to be able to filter out allergens and dust thoroughly, this air purifier should not be used for rooms larger than 300 square feet. Its claimed coverage area of 1500 square feet is FIVE times more than the recommended value by a U.S. government website. Here are more details showing clearly that the coverage area of this air purifier is inflated: Here are the specifications of this InvisiClean air purifier: - Weight: 9 pounds - Dimensions: 9"D x 9"W x 22.24"H - Shape: rectangle - Rated Power: 50 watts (from its user manual and webpage), 45 watts (under “Specifications”) - CADR: 200 CFM - Voltage: 100-220 volts - Coverage: 1500 ft2 - Filter Dimensions (Cylinder): 11.5 inches H x 7.0 inches (Diameter) (measurements include frame) - Filter interface surface: (2π x radius) x 11.5” = 252.77 inches2 Here are the specifications of an air purifier similar to several ones I owned before, designed by an American company, available on Amazon: - Weight: 21 pounds - Dimensions: 18”D x 18’W x 19”H - Shape: Cylinder - Rated Power: 170 watts - CADR: 250 CFM - Voltage: 120 volts - Coverage: 390 ft2 - Filter Dimensions (Cylinder): 9.9’’H x 14.2” Diameter (measurements include frame) - Filter Interface Surface: (2π x radius) x 9.9” = 441 inches2 This InvisiClean air purifier weighs 2.33 times less, is 3.4 times less powerful, and its filter has an interface surface 1.74 times smaller. Yet it claims its coverage to be 5.84 times larger than the one designed by a respectable and renowned American company. How can a 50-watt purifier produce a 200-CFM CADR while a 170-watt purifier, using 3.4 times more power, can only generate a 250-CFM CADR, which is only 1.25 times more? It does not sound right. The AHAM (Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers) is the main organization that establishes and supervises CADR testing. Independent testing organizations should determine the CADR and CFM to ensure accurate, unbiased, and reliable results; therefore, did the manufacturer’s own test department come up with 200 CFM or did it come from an independent testing organization? On the label at the bottom of this air purifier, it only shows the ETL (Electrical Testing Laboratories) certification, which certifies that this product complies with necessary safety standards required by North American safety regulation. Please note that ETL does not certify CADR value. As I mentioned earlier, the AHAM (Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers) is the main organization that establishes and supervises CADR testing. On its webpage, it also claims certifications from CARB (California Air Resources Board) and FCC (Federal Communications Commission). his air purifier might be very enough for much smaller rooms, much smaller than its "1500 ft2" claim. Most people do not have other air purifiers to compare with or do not have time to research thoroughly; therefore, it is difficult for them to realize that the coverage area claim for this air purifier is quite exaggerated. ... show more
