The Air Hawk is a transformative wheelchair for me. I am 78 years old and I cherish my independence. Now I can go and go and not be exhausted from wheeling my manual chair. Batteries last forever. Loads easily in our car (large) trunk. Short learning curve on folding and opening. I did tons of research before purchasing. This company seemed quite professional. The most important features for me are the swing away armrests. So many chairs have a armrest braket that is in the way for someone like me that transfers from the side.     • Easy to manipulate.
I love the wheel chair. It is small and easily maneuverable. My only complaint is that I wish the right arm with the controller were lower to go under tables easily. I actually have had many compliments on it. I do think it is likely better for females than large males.

Huge batteries last "forever." We have taken it out 5 times yet the battery reads full. No need to ever use the second one. I've had no problem in the grass. Sometimes turf is preferable to gravel for a smooth ride.Speed (bracket) can only be changed while stopped unlike some others. (2 is slow walk, 3 is fast, out of 5.) A slight pause upon initial operation (Double click to start after turn on. Not verified.) You will need to be "creative" to make a cane mount. Seems that it is built "like a tank" for years of operation. Lighter ones seem light duty. ... show more
